Kai who wants the best for his bestfriend, plays along and pretends to fight for tao as a lover to see how much sehun is willing to fight for zitao... and then at the end make them a happy ending where taohun's relationship is stronger than ever because of trust as well as pure and sincere love for each other. then xuihan and kaisoo so they have their happy endings too.. its basically angst/romance. I think its better when a romance has some drama on it right? it would make it more realistic and not all rainbows and unicorns.
You can add also add anything that you think would make the story more interesting and rather dramatic, like tao's increasing self-doubt,etc..

highschool au where tao has always liked sehun(who's very popular w/both girls and guys because he's intelligent, handsome and rich) from the beginning and decided to confess in front of everyone. sehun rejected him, but tao didnt give up and kept on pursuing him. Since Tao is as smart as sehun, and is cute and innocent,he then decides to finally go out with him, but he takes him for granted. Everytime Luhan's present he would ignore tao and deny their relationship in front of him. He eventually has an affair with luhan. Tao was hurt and upset upon witnessing sehun's affair and that he was only being taken for granted and is torn between breaking up and staying because he really likes sehun.He lets it go for the first time(maybe have this cheating scene maybe a few times to the point that tao cant take it anymore and tries to avoid sehun at all costs, so there would be more drama and tension building up;)?).Kai then comes and becomes Tao's close friend and confindante regarding taohun's relationship. sehun then notices tao's always with kai all happy and that while he avoids sehun. Sehun then starts to become jealous and realise his feelings for tao, and claiming him as his all of a sudden.

I know it's really typical and cheesy but I want Tao and Sehun to be best friends. Secretly inlove with each other but wont admit it till they start to show each other a lot of affection. o.o Can you also put in small little moments and stuff like that where they're about to kiss or when they're in their own little world something but they get interrupted? I love it when that happens.

I love Jealous people, so I'm sorry, but right now I can only think in an extremely jealous Sehun, being jealous even if someone just dare to think in his ZiTao. I know it's lame but OTL I can't think in something better in this moment. Lol I'm sorry, I tried.
