Young Saeng grabbed the bouquet of flowers on the passenger seat and ran towards
the field after parking his car, mentally cursing at Hyung Jun for the last minute call. 

Flashback

"Hyung, have you patched things up with her?"

"I still haven't figured out how to…"

"What? Whatever happened to love Professor Heo… Count yourself lucky, I'm giving you a chance today"

"What do you have in mind?"

"Minho's having his sports day. He wanted me to be there to join him in the family three legged race…"

"But he doesn't exactly know me"

"Does it matter? You'll need to win him over sooner or later too, to make things easier"

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"Yah… I just thought of it and called you"

"Thanks Hyung Jun"

End of Flashback

But he was definitely grateful to him though, for giving him a chance to make things right.

He managed to find Yun Hye among the crowd of families and was about to surprise her
when the little boy he recognized as Minho suddenly got into a scuffle.

"Didn't you say your Appa's coming?"

"He said he will come!"

"Do you really have a father?"

"My Appa's busy at work. He'll come… he promised to"

"You're going to lose. Your Appa doesn't love you"

Young Saeng's POV
What's with kids these days… how did their parents bring them up?
Was this why Minho wanted Hyung Jun to be here?

He could see tears forming in Yun Hye's eyes from the side and unable to take it any longer,
he stepped out to free the boy who was now being beaten by his classmate.

"Mianhae Minho, Appa's late..."

"Appa?"

"Didn't Omma tell you never to get into fights with naughty kids?"

"But he was the one who started it…"

"Look, Omma's crying already. Be a good boy, now go over to tell her you're sorry, and give
her a big hug, ok?" Young Saeng whispered into Minho's ears and gave him a light push.

He smiled as he watched him wipe away Yun Hye's tears with his little hands and hugged her after that.

Minho began pulling Yun Hye towards Young Saeng upon hearing the announcement
for the next race and the trio were soon standing in front of the starting line to get ready.

"I'm sorry about the other day…"

"Mianhae… I should have told you earlier too" 

"Let's talk about this later…"

"Appa, can we come again?" Minho asked Young Saeng as they headed for dinner after leaving the amusement park.

"De, if you like it. How about we try other activities next time? Do you like soccer? Or cycling?"

"Minho, it's ahjussi. Young Saeng ahjussi" Yun Hye corrected the boy once again,
and Young Saeng was secretly grinning away as he saw her flustered look.

He was glad Hyung Jun had asked him to attend the event in his place and was enjoying the time
spent with them, and he wouldn't mind more of such outings. As long as Yun Hye was happy.

"I can be your Appa, if you don't mind"

"Yah! How can you just…"

Yun Hye placed her hands over Minho's mouth just as he was about to call him again
and Young Saeng burst out laughing at the girl's cuteness.

"Minho ah, let's get a set of soccer attire. Kaja" 

Seeing a sports retail shop not too far ahead, he extended his hand to the little boy who
held it immediately and began walking towards it despite Yun Hye's protests.

"You're spoiling him too much..."
