"Omma! Your friend's here!" 

Minho came running into the kitchen and tugged at Yun Hye's hand, prompting her to lower the
fire and adjust her apron before heading out.

She wasn't expecting anyone else for the night and wondered who it was while she walked towards the door.

"Young Saeng shii?"

Yun Hye's POV
Oh my god, he must have heard Minho…
What do I do now?

"When did you return?"

"This afternoon. I came to pass this to you and..."

"Yah Jung Yun Hye you're gonna burn the house down sooner or later
if you continue leaving the fire unattended like this"

Yun Hye could only sigh mentally as she heard Jungmin, and knew the damage was
already done when she saw the change in Young Saeng's already gloomy expression.

"I guess you're busy. I need to make a move already"

Young Saeng opened another can of beer as he sat by the balcony of his apartment and
sighed as he looked at his ringing mobile phone.

It was the third call from her but he couldn't think of what to say if he were to answer,
so he chose to ignore it yet again.

He knew he should have given her a chance to explain but it was too much for him to take at that moment.

Young Saeng's POV
Was it the reason why she hasn't given me a reply? But how can it be?
Is she a single mother? That guy can't possibly be her husband…
Hyung Jun wouldn't introduce a married woman to me… 

Are you free tomorrow? Let's meet for dinner

He sent a text to Hyung Jun after his call was left unanswered and headed to bed after clearing the cans.
Tomorrow would be another long taxing day at work before he could get his answers.

After putting Minho to bed, Jungmin joined Yun Hye in the living room and knocked
her on the head as he sat down. The girl had been disoriented ever since the guy left
and refused to answer any question while having dinner. 

"Ow… that hurts"

"Stop staring into space… I know you're not watching the television"

"What do you want to know?"

"How long have you been dating him?"

"Just got to know him about a month back. We're not dating. Or at least not officially…"

"You haven't told him about Minho? You could have explained earlier on, why didn't you stop him?"

"Haven't had a chance to. I was thinking if we should even start"

"Why not?"

"You won't understand…"

"What's so difficult about dating someone?"

"Wouldn't I be scaring everyone away if I told them on the first date that I'm a mother
of a kid but he's not my biological child and you'll have to accept the both of us if
you really want to date me? I was going crazy just thinking of this"

Jungmin's POV
I know she's not going to like this but I'm saying it anyway.
This girl's as stubborn as a mule… sometimes I really wish she wouldn't be so hard on herself

"Well, if he accepts it then he's most likely gonna be the right one.
Everything would have been much easier if you had left Minho with your parents"

"And let him be a daily reminder to them that their son has died?
It's not as easy as you think it is... I don't wish to continue anymore"

"Continue acting tough then. Do you really think you can single-handedly give Minho the best?"
