TELL ME!

Kai rolls around restlessly, to the left, the right, lying down on his back, face down. But nope, nothing is done and Kai cannot sleep at all. His heart is still fluttering and he can’t get his mind off of what happened during their game of truth & dare

EXO-K was sitting around their dorm, bored out of their brains with nothing exciting to do

“Ya let’s play something” Chanyeol whines “Shut up!” Suho yells but fails miserably when a perked up Baekhyun smiles widely “Truth or dare!” Baekhyun yells happily

Whenever a game is mentioned, Baekhyun will always beg s to play truth and dare and he is relentless. So when Baekhyun says truth or dare, they play truth or dare.

Kai groans from the spot where his resting, his head on Kyungsoo’s lap, Kyungsoo lazily playing with his hair. Kai loves the feel of Kyungsoo’s fingers running through his hair. Wait, scratch that, Kai loves anything and everything that has to do with Kyungsoo

“Come on Kai better get up, you know how Baekhyun is when he wants to play truth or dare”

Grumbling a derpy and dumb idiot giant and an eye liner freak, Kai is up and pulling Kyungsoo along with him to take a seat on the floor with their members in a circle

So the game begins and after a while, it’s Kyungsoo’s turn now

“Truth or dare hyung” Sehun says

“Truth” Kyungsoo replies

Moans and groans are heard throughout the dorm

“Oh come on hyung that’s so boring!” Sehun whines

“Just get on with it Sehun-ah” Kai says

Kyungsoo gives him a thankful look before turning his attention on the maknae

“Who are you the closest to out of the members and why” Sehun asks after much deliberation

Kyungsoo smiles “Easy. Jongin”

Kai looks up, bewildered for a moment “M-me? Really?”

To Kai, Kyungsoo is of course the member his most closest too, but that’s probably because of his hidden feelings for his hyung too. But it never occurred once to him that Kyungsoo too would feel close to him

“Yes you babo” Kyungsoo says chuckling

“And why?” Suho asks interested

“Well, there’s just something about Jongin. He can make me smile even when I feel like crying, he can make me laugh even when I feel like the world is going to end and he can make me hypo even though I feel dead. I always took a while to open up to people, but with Jongin, I could do that easily”

And under his breath, not that anyone else heard, Kyungsoo muttered a soft “I love him too. A lot”

But because Jongin was so close to him already, he completely heard that part too. Kyungsoo never noticed and brightened up again smiling, “So, that’s why. Okay who’s turn next?”

And that’s why Jongin cannot sleep at all now.

Do you mean it Kyungsoo? Do you return my feelings? Aish what if I misheard it? Oh god what the hell. Argh I can’t sleep!

Kai dramatically sits up

Screw this , I need answers or else I’m going to die

Kai shiftily sneaks out of his room, wary enough to not awaken any of the members so uses his phone light to shine his way through the darkened hallway, coming to Kyungsoo’s room. Softly he opens the door and peeks in. through the illuminated light of the moon, Kai can see Kyungsoo’s sleeping figure. Smiling to himself he shifts in and lightly closes the door before tiptoeing to the foot of his hyung’s bed.

“Hyung. Hyung. Hyungie” Kai says, gently shaking the older “mmf” Kyungsoo responds sleepily “Kyungie-ah” Kai whispers once again

Kyungsoo slowly opens his eyes and blinks to will away the sleepiness from them “Jongin-ah?” Kai resists the urge to pounce on his adorable hyung. He loves it how Kyungsoo is the only one out of the members who always calls Kai by his real name, Jongin

“What’s wrong?” Kyungsoo sits up this time

“I can’t sleep hyung” Kai whispers softly

Kyungsoo nods and lies back down. Kai mentally pouts thinking that the older just can’t be bothered because his too-

“Come here” Kyungsoo scoots over and opens the covers, patting the spot beside him. “W-what?” Kai stammers, standing their awkwardly. Kyungsoo giggles “Come here babo. This isn’t the first time you slept with me, why so shy now?”

Uh well because my feelings developed and I fell in love with you hyung. Is that a good enough reason?

“Jongin?”

Kai blinks, nodding “Uh yeah sure”

He climbs into Kyungsoo’s bed as Kyungsoo covers them both with the blanket. “Okay. Now try to get some sleep arasso?”

Kyungsoo ruffles Kai’s hair tenderly, pecking the younger on the cheek and smiling one last smile to him before turning over and facing the wall

Kai can feel his heart beat faster and louder in his chest. He stares at the figure before him okay Kai you can do this. Concentrate and focus. You can do this Jongin man up!

Inhaling, then exhaling Kai moves closer to Kyungsoo and swiftly wraps his arms around the older’s waist. Kyungsoo’s eyes open and he gasps slightly as he feels the two strong arms wrapped tightly around his waist “J-Jongin?” Kyungsoo stutters

“Hyung” Kai huskily whispers in his ear, nuzzling his nose gently on the older’s neck. Kyungsoo shudders at the feel of Jongin so close to him. They’ve always been latched together but right now it feels more…intimate

“Hyung” Kai says again “N-ne?” Kyungsoo whispers back

“Answer something for me”

Kyungsoo’s now just plainly confused “Y-yeah, sure. What?”

“Hyung, after you said all that stuff during truth or dare about me, did you miss anything out, or was that all?”

Kyungsoo’s heart is rapidly beating as he remembers the contents of before. “Um that was it. Why?” Kyungsoo tries to mask the nervousness in his voice, but Kai hears it easily

“Hyung. Don’t lie”

And with one swift motion, Kai pulls Kyungsoo over to lie on his back, quickly moving on top of the older and straddling his waist to keep him in place. Kyungsoo yelps and can feel himself heat up at the position they are now in

“Jongin! What the hell are you-?

“Kyungsoo god damnit don’t lie to me! I need answers hyung, badly. You want to know the reason why I’ve been losing so much sleep, why my concentrations lacking, why my heart runs so fast that I sometimes worry that I have a heart condition?”

Kyungsoo blinks “I-I- why?”

Kai sighs deeply “You. You’re the reason why”

Kyungsoo stares at the younger on top of him “What are you-

“Hyung. Now answer this, please. After you said all that, what was it that you said afterwards, that you mumbled? Please, tell me the truth because I can’t handle it anymore” Kai pleads frustrated.

Kyungsoo breaths in and out slowly and keeps his eyes locked with the younger’s. I can never lie to Jongin. Ever. Might as well let out with it…whatever happens Kyungsoo happenes

“After I said that, another reason that I added was that I love you. I love you Jongin. A lot” Kyungsoo explains soft tears gently trickling down his face

Jongin can now feel a ton of emotions running within him as he stares at the elder under him. It’s too good to be true

“I’m sorry can you repeat that?” Jongin whispers, leaning in closer to Kyungsoo’s face

Now it’s Kyungsoo’s turn to be frustrated

“I said I love you you stupid-

Jongin closes the gap between himself and Kyungsoo and gently places a lingering kiss on Kyungsoo’s awaiting lips.

Pulling back jongin chuckles at the blushing Kyungsoo, softly palming away Kyungsoo’s tears

“Ssh don’t cry hyung. I love you too, so bloody much hyung. I love you so much Do Kyungsoo” Kai nuzzles his nose with Kyungsoo’s as Kyungsoo giggles

“Stupid Jongin. Why didn’t you tell me before” Kyungsoo hits lightly at Jongin’s chest. Jongin pouts “What! Why didn’t you tell me hyung?”

The two stare at each other before laughing

“Jongin-ah. You can get off me now” Kyungsoo states

Kai laughs “But it’s comfortable”

“YA!”

“Arasso arasso”

Kai leaps off and lies beside Kyungsoo, pulling the older male into his arms as Kyungsoo rests his head on Kai’s chest,Kai wrapping his arms securely around Kyungsoo’s waist. Kyungsoo drapes his arm over Jongin’s torso and snuggles into the younger’s embrace

“Goodnight Kyungsoo. I love you” Kai whispers, placing a tender kiss on Kyungsoo’s forehead

“Night Jongin. I love you” Kyungsoo whispers back

Kyungsoo slowly opens his eyes in the morning that was a beautiful dream…but it felt so real

Kyungsoo blinks and registers the position his in and who is holding him tightly. JONGIN?! Wait…that was real? Oh my god-

“Kyungsoo-ah”

Kai’s voice interrupts his mental fanboy mode “N-ne?”

“Goodmorning baby’ Kai places a kiss on Kyungsoo’s lips. Kyungsoo chuckles softly “Good morning”

“Kyungsoo”

“Ne?”

“You’re mine” Kai holds Kyungsoo tighter

“And you are mine” Kyungsoo says back

“Ngaw the KaiSoo couple are finalised!” Baekhyun jumps up and down excitedly as they listen intently to the conversation behind the door
