I stood frozen in my spot. All I could do at the moment was stare up at him. Kris was looking down at me, gazing at me lovingly, softly. I tried opening my mouth, but nothing came out of my mouth

"~~~~~..." Kris was the first one to break the silence. My heart leaped for a split second and before he could say anything else, I ran away from him. I didn't know where I was going or even WHY I was running away... I just had to. But because of the crowd, it was hard getting through them

"~~~~~!" I felt Kris tug on my arm, making me face him, but I kept my gaze at the floor. This made Kris cup one side of my cheek and lifted my head, making me looking at him. His eyes were full of... something that I can't explain. Guilt? Love? Sadness?

"~~~~~...." he said my name again. I didn't respond

"Look, I know what I did in the past hurt you but please... give me another chance! I love you and I promise,  I swear none of that will happen again" he said. I bit my lip, not believing his words. Technically, this all happened because of him... well I'm also at fault right? Something warm met my lips, distracting me from my thoughts. My eyes widened in realization when it was Kris kissing me. He was still cupping my face, hands s behind my back, pulling me closer. I couldn't help but close my eyes and kiss back, enjoying the kiss. I could feel Kris smile in between the kiss and he finally pulled back, both of us taking a breather. He rested his forehead against mine, letting it rest there for a while

"~~~~~, I'm so so sorry. Please forgive me. All I want to do from now is protect you. Fogive me?" he asked, raising one brow. Deciding to play with him, I crossed my arms and pretended to still be mad at him

"I don't know... I don't know if I can trust you, so I can't forgive you just yet" I almost burst out laughing when I saw the disappointment in his eyes. I bit on my lower lip to help me keep my poker face. Then what confused me was that Kris broke out into a grin

"Then... should I make you trust me again?"

"What do you mean-" and in a split second, I was carried off, going back to the rides

Kris was being very... childish today. A side that I rarely see. He was smiling the whole time and made a lot of jokes here and then. Just seeing him have fun makes me smile. He seemed like a child! Like he's never been here before... then again, has he been here before?

"Well that was fun!" we just got off the top spin ride... man that was one scary ride! I shook my head not liking that ride at all

"Oh c'mon! It was fun! I was beside you the whole time!" Kris tried cheering me up. Either way, I smiled at him, knowing that he was having a blast

"It's getting pretty late. We should probably get back" I told him. I was about to get going when Kris pulled me back

"Wait! One more ride ok?" Kris pleaded. I thought... was it ok if it was just one more ride? What if it leads to more than one?

"It's just one more! I promise!" I sighed and let him take me to the last and final ride. Surprisingly, the last ride he wanted to get on was the ferris wheel. I looked up at the tall ride and my jaw dropped. It was... pretty tall, really tall in fact

"Let's go!" Kris ran to the seat and I slowly followed him. My knees were starting to feel weak. You don't understand how tall this thing was! It was probably higher than when Kris took my flying

"Are you ok?" Kris asked me. We were already going up and I started getting more and more light headed. I was not used to doing this since I've ne
