Prologue

"It's the moon," Moonsoo explained when Daeyeol pointed to that big gray sphere in the night sky. "Pretty, right?"

The two of them were sitting, back to the younger's bed, staring out the open window of the bedroom. Both of their older brothers were locked in Sungyeol's bedroom, doing who-even-knows-but-shhh-don't-tell-the-little-kids-because-youknowwhy.

"Very," Daeyeol grinned cheekily, even if what he was really doing was staring at the twelve-year-old sitting beside him. He hesitantly turned back to look outside his bedroom window when there was nothing but awkward silence surrounding them. "Is it always there?"

"Sometimes," the other shrugged, shifting himself on the ground, his back to the bed. "In the morning, the sun's out instead. But you knew that, right?"

Daeyeol only shook his head. "I'm only ten, remember?"

"That's no excuse for anything," Moonsoo nagged, elbowing the younger boy in the side. 

"Then tell me, hyung! About the moon. Then I can know."

Moonsoo only paused a bit, because he himself didn't know much about it either. "The moon, the time it's out is...it's...it's a day apart. Or at least I think it's a day. Or is it half a day? Yeah, half. Maybe. Or an entire day. But you see, if it's out at 9AM then it's not out at 9PM. But if it's out at 3PM it's not out at 3AM. Do you get it?"

He didn't understand a thing, but Daeyeol still nodded his head. "I'll remember it. So if anybody asks me anything about the moon, I know, thanks to my Moonsoo hyung!"

"Yeah, I know, I'm your moon," Moonsoo idly said, waving his right hand because he only half-heard what Daeyeol had replied.

"My...moon? Sure then, hyung, you'll be my moon!"

And five years later, Moonsoo still is Daeyeol's moon. The only problem is, he's a day away.

omfg I feel so lame. what was that. lol WHAT WAS THAT. I literally just wrote that on the spot because I was looking at what I had typed up for the first chapter, and it had like nothing to do with moons or days or daes so I had to do a six minute messed up prologue. (in the prologue it's a year later, that's why moonsoo's 12 and daeyeol's 10. in crazy love they're 11 and 9 respectively.)

I was all conflicted over whether or not to make a simple oneshot or an entire chaptered fanfic as the sequel and I was more leaning towards the oneshot side but then I noticed that crazy love was still getting comments and subs and upvotes and I was like crying happy tears each time so it's gonna be at least this will be a twoshot. that's at least. it could possibly even reach it to like be a sixshot which isn't even a real type of story lol but yes. 

OH RIGHT AND GUISE THIS TAKES PLACE SIX YEARS LATER. OKAY? OKAY. dammit six years is actually a long time holy crap I'd be like *counts fingers* twenty two in six years. crap. omfg. and myungyeol didn't break up in those six years, everybody bring out the confetti~

(psh who am I kidding myungyeol's always going to stay together. omfg that reminds me did you guise see those pictures with myungyeol and the bunny and ijeikjfkdshcakjdsfnascmdafjdsacjdn guise I'm dead.)

late birthday present for my irene bb even if she don't have an aff account and will probably never read this. I love you my fellow infinite stan.<3 i'll write a woohyun fanfic for you one day.
