His POV
Listening to the song that I kept for repeat mode, I smiled meekly.
It is true as the saying goes;
‘When you’re happy, you enjoy the music; when you’re sad, you’ll understand the lyrics’.
Sipping the rich black coffee leisurely, gush of memories soon developed on my mind.
The precious moments we formed together to the painful, silent goodbye.
I always asked why I made myself going through this load of void.
Always feeling pitiful, vulnerable, lonesome.
I scoffed, gazing out of the window, watching the droplets of rains fell from the sky like the tears she shed on that day.
Who am I to complain?
When I was the one who decided to leave her…
Her POV
I enjoyed the rhythmic sound of rain.
It makes the perfect melody to my ears.
The music that relives my remnants of him.
How soft his touch would be,
How warm his smiles were,
How affectionate he was,
How he always constantly worrying about my well being,
How prominent his promise was,
‘I will never let you cry…’
Although, he had broken it over and over again.
Harshly wiping off the overflowing cascaded tears, I held tight the letter he sent on that day.
