Krystal doesn’t look back—she can’t look back, and that’s just common sense. One foot after another, she keeps on running, and at this point, her eyes are shut in two fierce lines. She runs until her feet can’t take it anymore, and pauses, almost absolutely certain she had run past that few set of trees before, and that one shady cottage with the smoke coming out of the chimney.

The windows are open, but Krystal isn’t close enough to the house to peer into it; all she knows is that the lights are on and that she wouldn’t go in there unless it was the only option left.

Krystal takes off again at full speed, afraid that someone would catch her, though it had been so oddly quiet since she had tripped on the rock and seen the house. Before that, they were all screaming her name.

She slows down and takes in her environment, and she widens her eyes in confusion as she thinks about the road.

Yes, I’ve definitely passed this before.

Krystal’s assumptions prove to be correct as she sees a small clearing ahead and she stops, staring at the same house that had been there before.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this, she thinks. Where am I?

She sits down on the soft grass on the floor and stares at the building almost in accusation, and Krystal releases a small yawn before lying on the floor and deciding that sleep was of utmost importance at that moment.

It was a shame, or perhaps it wasn’t a shame, that she didn’t notice the very confused pair of eyes watching her from inside the small cottage.

Note: I at this whole introduction thing, so I'm just going to leave it here. Inspiration came from an idea one day. I was daydreaming in business (don't judge me for taking business) and I thought, hey, what if I was in a never ending place? Then I just added on, then right at the end, I was like, I'll add a house for extra coolness. It would mean a lot to me if you subscribed, thanks. c:
