{flashback}

Luhan smiled gently at Minseok, his hands gently his hair.

"Baozi, you love me, right?"

"As much as you love me."

"You're so cheesy, Minnie."

"You know you love it." Minseok drew out the last word teasingly, letting the syllable ring through the air.

Luhan brought their faces together for a chaste kiss.

"And I love you."

{end flashback}

"Luhan, what's wrong?" Sehun's face was a mix of worry and concern. "You're drifting off again."

Luhan gave him a strained expression of happiness, one that didn't quite reach his eyes.

Sehun didn't push it and pressed a soft kiss on the forehead.

He pulled away suddenly when the doorbell rang.

"Luhan, are you going to get that? Or should I?"

Luhan pushed Sehun down.

"I'll get it, Sehunnie."

Luhan bolted for the door and opened it, face to face with Minseok.

Minseok's eyes were puffy and swollen.

Luhan felt his chest constrict.

"Why are you here? We're done."

He started to close the door.

Minseok pushed the door back open, staring right into Luhan's eyes and into his soul.

"Tell me that you don't love me. Tell me that it was all lies. Tell me that our relationship was nothing. TELL ME THAT I WAS WORTH NOTHING TO YOU."

Luhan dully looks back and forces himself to repeat the words.

With every phrase, Minseok's eyes grow more and more crushed.

Luhan closes his eyes, and when he opens them again, Minseok is gone.

He walks back in and sits back next to Sehun, slumping against the couch.

"Who was at the door, baby?"

Luhan freezes.

What does he say?

The one person that he loves so much that it hurts?

Minseok climbs up to the top.

The one person that makes his heart skip over and over?

Minseok faces the edge, lining his toes with the edge.

The one person that keeps him alive?

Minseok smiled and steps off the edge.

Luhan ignores the ruckus going on outside and forces himself to smile at Sehun.

"It was nobody important."
