Just like the previous days of yesterday, Minju continued to do what she would be doing for the next two weeks. Concentration was set on the sketch in front of her. She was almost unaware of everything else around her, but she had no reason to be aware since President Roth Harper had already given her permission to take off from school for a while as she was completing a task that he asked specifically for her. The sixteen-year-old girl suppressed her incoming sighs and ran her fair, slender fingers through her dyed blonde hair.

of black ink from her fresh pen joined together on the rugged piece of large paper, and the streaks soon transformed into a small section of the new map of the city. A tiny smile tugged at her lips as she continued on. Being asked to prepare a new map of the city by the president was a great honor, but it was surprising that he had asked her and not anyone else. Either way, she wanted this map to be thought of as admirable.

A few moments later, Minju sat up as she heard footsteps making their way up the stairs. Assuming it was her mother asking her to come down to dinner, she slumped back into her chair and continued her work, but her bedroom door all of a sudden flew open, making her sit back up again. A tall, slender figure with a wavy mop of hair, thick-framed glasses, and a huge grin was standing at the door frame while holding a box of what appeared to be books. A knowing smile came upon Minju's lips.

"Chanyeol!" She quickly stood up and ran to hug him. He laughed in a nonchalantly matter, which was a lot more calm and settle than his usual booming laugh. Chanyeol's face brightened up and looked into the box, digging through until he finally found what he wanted. Then, he took his hand out of the box and a pair of books were grasped firmly between his thumb and fingers as he held them up.

"Hey, look, I got the books that you requested!" He held them out with a smile, and Minju took them into her own hands and returned the smile.

"Is this the only reason you came to see me?" Minju teasingly asked, raising an eyebrow. Chanyeol's beaming smile died down and he raised his hands up in defence as he said, "N-no way. I just wanted to see my best friend!" He returned his smile onto his face and made a hand motion.

"Your mom also wanted me to tell you it's time for dinner~"

"You'll be here, too, right?" She curiously asked, hoping he would say yes.

"Of course! Your mom invited me over anyway." Pleased with the response, Minju linked onto his arm and led him downstairs to the dining room.
