It's almost 12 in the midnight and you're about to sleep. You lied down on your bed comfortably after a long and tiring day until your handphone alarmed. "Happy 8th Anniversary! 8 years down, forever to go!", your phone just talked by itself with a recorded voice of yours and your one and only special guy, Luhan. You carefully turned off the alarm and shed a bit of tear until you've found yourself sleeping.

"Good Morning Baby!! Wake up now, my sweetie sleepy head! It's already 10AM!!" Luhan's voice woke you up as he kiss your forehead, nose and cheeks. He surprised you at your dorm, coming really early just to wake you up and greet you. You partially moved and was about to greet him good morning as well but he cut your words as he kiss you softly on your lips and greeted you sweetly, "Happy Anniversary Baby. I love you so much. You're the only one that I treasure the most, I can give you everything, even my life. Everything for you, you're my world, I don't know what will I be without you." as he hugs you tight. "Ya! What's with all the formality, babe? Hehe. Happy Anniversary! I love you so so much as well! And don't worry, you won't have to sacrifice your life for me because i will take care of you and love you until the end of time." as you answered him with a tighter hug.

"What would you want to do tonight? Anything you want to eat? I'll get it for you!" Luhan excitedly asked you. "Hmmm~ I've been craving for Pizzas this past few days. Can you get me those? I really wanna eat it!" , you answered with a slight aegyo and precious eye smile that you only show to no one but him. "I got it! How about some cookies and popcorns too? I got new movies there, we could watch all of them all night." Luhan exclaimed. "Sure! I'm so excited for tonight!" , you answered happily. "I am too! Hehe! I should go now! I'll be back before dinner, okay? I also got little preparations for my lovely. Oh btw, your brunch is ready. I made lasagnas for you. It's your favorite, right?" as he kiss your forehead. "OMG! Lasagnas are love! Thank you so much sweetie, i'm gonna eat all of them well. Hehe. Okay then! I'll be preparing for tonight as well. Please be back sooner, before I miss you. Hehe. I love you Luhan. I love you forever." you said while blushing. "Okay princess. Be sure to lock the doors okay? Be safe always. I'll do it as fast as possible for my princess." Luhan said as he grab his jacket and was ready to go. He opened the door but turned back to you. "Mihyun'shii?" Luhan called your name. You turned to him and he hugged you tight, really tight. "I love you. I just wanna be with you forever." Luhan whispered sweetly on your ears. You smirked and answered "Psh. Hey good-looking deer Luhan, you know I love you too right? I want to spend my whole life with you. Now go, I'll be waiting for you. Take care! I love you." and you sealed his lips with a kiss. Luhan then left.

* on Mihyun's / your POV *

"He's just the sweetest and the most precious. I'm really blessed to have him in my life, to be loved by the best guy in the world." as you were about to get to the kitchen and you've seen the special lasagna Luhan made especially for you. It's shape is heart with a smiley figure made by ketchup above it. You also noticed the little cute tiny billboard-like sign at the middle of it with words "Mihyun'ah. I love you. Happy Anniversary! I have something really special for you tonight! Please look forward for it!". Those sweet words are obviously from Luhan. "Aish. He's really the best." as you started eating the lasagna. Luhan really cooks well and this is one of the reason why you love him so much.

After eating brunch, you started cleaning up and preparing for tonight. You ordered some floating balloons and special flowers to be put everywhere at your dorm. You scattered them everywhere and made it feel like a dinner date on a restaurant. You cooked some spicy rice cakes and fried chickens for him as these are all his favorite, with a special Chocolate cake baked by you, just especially for Luhan.

* on Luhan's POV *

"She's so precious, such a princess. I really want to take care of her forever, I can never love anyone as much as I love her. No one can measure my love for her as well." Luhan murmured to himself. Luhan came to the bakery and ordered some special made cookies and waited for almost 35mins for it. He ordered different kinds and flavors of cookies and all are heart-shaped, especially requested for his princess. There were pink, yellow, blue, green and violet colored heart cookies. He then came to the pizza store and ordered Mihyun's favorite and requested pizza, he added some dishes and sweets to it as he bought spaghetti and ice cream along with the popcorn for their mini=movie marathon tonight. As he bought everything he needed, he visited the jewelry shop and looked for the perfect ring for Mihyun.

"For who, sir?" the saleslady asked him. "For my girlfriend." Luhan answered with a smile, "Hmm, it's your anniversary today?" asked the saleslady again. "Yes, and actually I would like to propose to her tonight. I wanna marry her." Luhan blushed as he was explaining it to the lady. "Oh, that's so sweet. Congratulations and good luck. Here's the best ring." as the saleslady handed him the perfect ring. "Woah. This is so pretty! I'll be taking this! But, how about the size of her fingers?" Luhan was worried as he stares at the beautiful ring. "I heard that when the girl and you are destined, your pinky size is her ring finger size. I heard it from my grandparents and parents, and it worked well with them. So maybe, you must try it as well?" the saleslady suggested. "Really? How come I didn't know about it? Hehe! Sure! I'll do it that way." as Luhan started fitting the sizes of the ring on his pinky. "This is about right!" Luhan found the exact ring on his finger. He bought it and called you.

"Babe?" you answered. "Hey princess! I'm about to go home now. I have a lot of things for you. I hope you'll like it." Luhan stated. "Oh babe, don't worry! I'll surely love them! Be careful and go home safely, everything's ready and i'm waiting for you. I love you." you excitedly said. "Okay then! I love you too. I'll hang up now. See you later." and Luhan hang up.

Time flew fast and it's almost 7PM already.

* on Mihyun's / your Pov *

"I'm so excited for tonight, i'm so happy. Everything will go well tonight, everything's ready. It's just Luhan now." as you wait patiently for your lover. You wore a very lovely pomelo pink cocktail dress and you pulled it with a messy bun and decorated your hair with a little crown at the top of your head. "Ahh, I think I look pretty enough for this special night now, aren't I?" you talked to yourself while looking at your reflection at the full length mirror on your room.

* on Luhan's POV *

"Everything's here? I haven't missed anything, didn't I? Hehe! I guess not." Luhan murmured excitedly to himself as he looked over the things and foods he bought. He was walking and is heading at the bus station until three mysterious guys came to him.

"What's up man?" guy 1 asked Luhan. Luhan stared at the floor and acted as if he've seen nothing and tried to walk through until the 2nd guy pulled him back. "Our leader, was talking to you young man! Oh, and look at those foods. Give it to us." as guy 2 stole the foods from his hands. "Give us your phone too! And other gadgets!" guy 3 scarily spoke. Luhan had no choice but to give them every single gadgets he got with him. "That's all I got, may I go now? Someone's waiting for me. Please." Luhan asked them with a scared and pity face. "You may go now!" guy 3 stated. Luhan was about to leave until "Wait! What's that on your pocket? Give that to us." guy 1 interogated. It's the ring Luhan was about to give you, he frozed as he was thinking what excuse he may tell.

"Give it to us!!!" guy 1 demanded him as the two guys held his arms and the leader got the ring from his pocket. "No, please, everything, just not that. Please, i'm begging you." Luhan begged. "But this is what we like! This is a big win. We're getting this with us young man. It's thank you now. So long!" as they were about to leave and Luhan tried to get the ring back, he punched the guy and got the ring back on his hands as he tried to run as fast as he could, but unfortunately got caught and was stabbed at the back. He still kept holding on the ring even after he received punches, kicks and another stab at his stomach area.

A whistle from the guards were heard and the three guys left Luhan on the floor, hurt and wounded. The other guards ran before the guys as some were left on Luhan's side. He was then taken to the hospital and all he was calling is your name.

* on Mihyun's / your POV *

"It's already 9PM. Where is he? I'm feeling a bit uneasy. What just happened? My precious Luhan, where are you, seriously?" you asked yourself, worrying while walking back and fourth at your room.

Your phone rings, an unknown number was calling. "Hello? Who's this?" you asked. "This is a nurse from Exo hospital, and there's a patient here with the name Luhan and is looking for you. He's now critical so please come right over as soon as possible. He's now on the emergency room." the person on the other line broke. "Wait! What happe-" you weren't able to ask more because the nurse hang up already.

You don't know what happened but you cried, took your jacket, ran outside your dorm and rode a taxi heading to the hospital. "Oh my gosh, what just happened to him? Please Luhan don't do this. I'm coming, Luhan please stay." as you keep on saying those on your mind, you're crying and praying at the same time.

* on Luhan's POV "

Luhan is in pain, he's fighting the pain he's undergoing and still waiting for his princess. "Mihyun, where are you? I need you now. Please Mihyun." Luhan murmured to himself while suffering from the stab pain even though the doctors and nurses are trying to heal him. Everytime he feels pain, he shouts your name. "Ahhh!! Mihyun'ahh!!! Where are you?! Ahh!!" Luhan screamed and it was loud enough to be heard throughout the emergency room.

* on Mihyun's / your POV *

You just came into the hospital and by the moment you got close on the emergency room door, you heard Luhan's shout and you feel pain and pinch on your heart as well. You entered the emergency room and you've seen him on his situation. Bleeding, stabbed, with bruises all over his body and face. You started crying harder the moment you've seen him, you ran ang hugged him. He hugged you back.

Luhan smiled the moment he had seen you. He wiped away your tears and held your face "Mihyun'ah. I'm sorry if this happened on our Anniversary. I was about to go ho-" you cut his words as you kiss his lips. "Shh Luhan. Don't be sorry. I must be sorry for sending you out. Luhan, please get well. I don't wanna lose you. I love you babe, I love you so much." you said while your tears still keep on rolling down your cheeks. "I know babe. That's why I'll have you this." and Luhan took out the ring he fought for and took your hand. "I was about to propose to you tonight, I want to marry you, be with you forever with our soon to be kids, but with my situation now, I don't think that will happen. I've save this ring for you, as I've said, I'll do everything for you, even if it takes my life. Mihyun'ah, promise me that you'll be happy no matter what happen to me, go on with your life and chase your dreams. I'll be right here, guiding you." Luhan inserted the ring on your finger and it fits you perfectly! "Oh, it's a perfect fit, i knew all along you're the one for me, but I'm sorry I need to go first, i'll be waiting for you Mihyun'ah." Luhan kissed your hand sweetly and softly, he held on your hand so tight as if it's his last time holding it. "Luhan no~ don't do this, don't say that! Luhan, you can't leave me! I love you Luhan, I'll marry you! Luhan please!" you exclaimed as you hug him tight. Luhan hugged you back and whispered "So long, my princess. I love you, forever. Happy 5th Anniversary." and Luhan's hands dropped and he lose his breath. "NO!!! NO LUHAN PLEASE!!!" you shouted as you hugged him tighter while crying.

The doctor and nurses pulled you away from Luhan for them to revive him, but there was no response. "Xi Luhan, 23 years old, time of death 11:38PM, February 14" you broke down on your knees as you heard those words from the doctor. You've stared at the ring he gave you, with a partial blood stains on it, and cried harder as you lay your lips on the precious ring your prince gave you. "I'll never forget you Luhan, you'll always be in my heart. Wait for me, I will never love anyone as you again. I love you Babe, forever." you whispered on yourself and on the ring he gave you. You felt a sudden warmth on your back while you were kneeled on the floor, it's as warm as Luhan's hug and you knew it's him. "See you soon, Luhan. I love you." you murmured and the warmth faded.

You woke up by yourself, it's 10AM in the morning. You looked around your room and founded no one, you checked your phone and the calendar says it's already February 14, it's valentines and it's yours and Luhan's 8th Anniversary. You got right up and get prepared. You baked some chocolate cupcakes and made a heart-shaped lasagna with a smiley figure on it. You took a shower and dressed up. You packed your made foods, stepped out of your door and rode your own car. You bought balloons on the store just right behind the place and bought some candles too.

You've now reached the place and you lay the picnic mat you brought and prepare the foods you've made. "Babe, Happy 8th Anniversary. It's been 3 years since you were gone, but you're still on my heart. I've made some cupcakes and lasagna. I always remember how you made lasagna for me on our 5th Anniversary. How are you doing? I bet you're happy now. Let's eat? I'm really hungry already." as you lighten up the candles you bought and put them on his place, you then ate your brunch. This has been your yearly routine when it's your Anniversary. Visiting him and spending the afternoon with him, until now, you haven't dated any man yet. You're focused on your career on being a professional jewelry designer and you're contented on your life right now as you can always feel the presence of your lover from time to time. You always visit him at least once or twice a week every year. And that is how you lived you life when Luhan made his farewell.
