Third Teaser: The Seniors
“Is my sister becoming crazy?” wondered SeoEun.
Jae Sung didn’t answer. He knew that if he voiced his own opinion and disagreed, there would be no end to it. But if he ever insulted her beloved sister, his end would come very fast. “What do you mean?” he chose to ask.
“You are having a debut soon,” SeoEun grumbled. “And she wants to debut another group.”
Sitting on a couch, Jun turned her head to look at them. She nodded at SeoEun.
“I agree with Unnie,” Jun whispered, barely loud enough to be heard by everyone. ”Everyone says it’s not wise to debut two artists at the same time… But…”
“But what if they actually have talent?” Hyunsik continued. “I can tell Lee SeoYoung always knows what she’s doing. To the point where she seems like a psychic…”
He laughed at what he had said, probably because of the image of SeoYoung dressed like a gypsy that invaded his mind.
“I know that,” SeoEun retorted while puffing her cheeks.
Sang JaeSung burst out laughing while taking in her antic, earning himself the surprised glance of Hyunsik and the one full of admiration of Jun.
Hyunsik walked to the door and checked to see if anyone was listening. He then closed the door and jumped on the couch making Jun gasp of surprise.
They all currently were in a small break room that artists had always used. Mainly because of traditions, all debuted talent of Frost would go there when feeling the need to talk to someone. There were times where the room was full and so another one was built: bigger and more technological. But, SeoEun liked this one room and, so, teens and young adults had claimed it as their own.
The room was constituted of a big couch, on which Jun and Hyunsik currently sat, a large TV screen, a table, chairs and a counter as well as a fridge. The only window of the room had those sheer curtains that really served more as decoration than having a real purpose. The walls were striped, alternating between baby blue and beige.
“I think,” carried SeoEun on, “that I should have helped you debut with the duet. It would have made way more sense.”
“Or it could have been Jun…” Hyunsik added with a smile, perfectly aware of how his younger friend felt for the only non-debuted singer in the room.
Jun blushed and sank in the couch with a gleeful smile.
“Even that would have made sense,” SeoEun agreed. She wasn’t particularly keen on Jun, mainly because of her young age and the fact they both liked the same person, but it was true she had talent. In fact, having a solo singer like Jun really brought a new dimension to Frost. And, new fans were not something to pass over.
“I can’t wait to see who it is… Gold…” Hyunsik said, curious.
“Then why don’t you come to the auditions?” SeoEun suggested to his friend. “I’ll be there. In fact, you should all come to the auditions! Are you free later on?”
“Yes,” replied Jun after thinking about it. “I believe all the Crew was monopolized for the event.”
“Then it’s a deal,” JaeSung said.
He glanced through the window. Gold, the new song, his debut… He just couldn’t wait.
