Unmyeong is situated on a man-made peninsula at the south of Incheon, in the Incheon's free-economic zone, and is a newly established Korean-based international school that provides superior education to those who don't know yet what they want to study in.
It holds approximately 1,000 students divided into 6 departments (Natural sciences, Social sciences, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Formal Sciences and General). Students are free to take classes into each departments as long as they meet the minimum number of classes required for the obtaining of their diploma.
Sports' team include Track and Field, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Tennis, Swimming and others. The school also encourage the formation of after-school clubs. Students can join clubs based on their hobbies and abilities (chess club, computer club, astronomy club, etc.) or the wish to involve themselves in the students' life (beautification committee, school council, event organizing committee, etc.)
The school provides dormitories for students who don't live in the area or want to fully experience the high school life.
Unmyeong High also has a student exchange program which allows students from all over the world to come study to our beautiful school, as well as our own students to go study abroad. If one think the experience of studying abroad is too long but still wants to experience traveling, we also have cultural trips and humanitarian trips.
