Foreword

Originally a project for the B1A4 Secret Santa fic exchange on LJ for lee_junghwan. I tried to clean up a couple of things before reposting, oh no *shudder*. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be posting this yet but it's technically the 1st of January in my timezone so SO THERE. HMPH.

Yes, so this is what I've been doing when I should have been finishing my homework or writing up chapter 16 of Shattered Secrets. (Hey did you realise both Shattered Secrets and Secret Santa have the same abbrieviation I didn't know that haha yayyyy high on chocolate and cheese) Umm. I hope it's okay? It sounds a lot like 19-and-a-half And Taking Over The World because like wow her prompts were exactly what I had in mind when I was writing that and I couldn't possibly give her that could I. So um. Here :D To all lovers of Badeul and their crazy romance.

P.S. lee_junghwan if you ever read this here I'm just going to apologise D: I could tell you weren't exactly very happy by your comment and...I guess this fic isn't exactly fantastic compared to the others on the exchange, but I hope it helped to satisfy at least a bit of your Badeul cravings?

Chapter 1: I just realised I haven't commented yet. I think it was because I wasn't logged and was in a hurry so I didn't have time to review. I am going to admithat I've read this and 19-and-a-half And Taking Over The World and World Domination Can Wait Awhile probably 3 times already. I was like, "wow.. The stories are a bit similar and not to mention the narration," and I realised they were all by you (who is such an awesome author~ .... With a knack of making witty, catchy but painfully long titles).

I really like your in-depth view of things that makes sense, is rational, and totally objective without being biased. I have to say I love your style, I kept getting moved (and there are these tingles) every single time I read this - moved as though it's my first. And your insight and opinion on Baro is so true. He knows what he's doing, knows his flaws and strengths, understands what he needs, and he HAS what he needs (personality, talent, social skills, charm, wits, humour). He can set his goals (say, be more popular) and he can reach them (talking to people, make some spotlight shine on him but not too much so he won't be like an attention hog). I agree with the parts where he has the talent, knows the right people (seriously, befriending EXO - the new hot thing from SM - is just.. Woah) and your comments about the other members and why they would most likely stick with B1A4. Baro is probably the most capable in this group. I do wish for him to shine and people would recognise him (and B1A4) more but every time I read a comment like that, I feel like I just don't want that to happen. It might be selfish but B1A4 is still considered pure, innocent, "naive" and they haven't had any problems or scandals and I just want to keep them this way without being contaminated by the fame. (And I'm creeped out by sasaengs so I'm desperately wishing they won't have crazy stalkers who send a batch of their hair)

Chapter 1: Seriously, I read this in a public library and I'm crying bullets right now. I've never read a better b1a4 story then the one I just read now. You captured so many emotions and your characters were so 3-dimensional and sometimes even 4-dimensional. You described everything with perfection and excellence I was so shocked.
Don't ever quit writing cause you're truly amazing.
Anyway, I read your authors notes and I couldn't agree with you more. He is so professional and I'm scared that what if he would leave? I doubt he would and I hope the bond and friendship of B1A4 is stronger then that but, the other side of k-pop is a strange place. I mean look at T-ara whose scandal blew up in everyones face. I know that is a completely different topic but the world of k-pop isn't as innocent as we want to believe. I just hope this time around B1A4 stays together as long as they possibly can :)
