“Excuse me!” He tries to get your attention. He sees your body walk away getting lost in the crowd of people.

You slow your pace down *sounds like his voice* you thought and turned around but didn’t see him.

*wow I’m already hearing things* You turned back around before entering the coffee shop you worked at.

Getting bumped by a couple of people he takes his eyes off of you for a second to apologize. Looking back he loses the sight of you.

*She’s gone* He tip toes over the crowd hoping to find you but gives up taking a look at the time knowing if he doesn’t leave now he’ll be late for practice.
