Inawari stared at her watch. Five o'clock passed and her best friend, Ryutaro Morimoto, was nowhere in sight. She was getting impatient, though she knew that there was a traffic jam at the main road.

She sat down at the swing. The park was empty as usual, because children went home before sunset. She wanted to have alone time with Ryutaro.

Her mobile phone vibrated in her pocket. She received a message from Ryutaro;

I'm coming! Please wait for me!=)

Inawari couldn't help herself smiling. This was the tenth time Ryutaro messaged her that week. Inawari just knew that, probably, Ryutaro fell in love with her.

"Stop dreaming!" said Inawari, but she couldn't help herself thinking about it.

All of the sudden, a meteor striked in front of her, sending her flying to the monkey bars. She survived, but there were bruises on her arm.

She took a closer look on the meteor. It was cracking, like a chick coming out of the egg. Inawari thought it was an alien, until a bony hand shot out from the crack.

"I want your life..."

Inawari stepped backwards as a man came out of the meteor. He was wearing a ragged hooded robe and gold rings. Just before he approached her, a boy came in front of him, with a bronze sword. It was Ryutaro.

"Back off, Corvus!" said Ryutaro. He looked at Inawari, and snapped his fingers.

She blinked. She was in her bedroom, lying on her floor with a blanket over her body. 

"It was just a dream," she said as she checked her arm. There were no bruises. "But why did I feel like it happen?"
