A lone light's beam illuminated the street. With its light, it caught the flurries of snow drifting along with the wind. Just within its reach, a figure stood, alone. Known to none but the snow...

Behind the source of light, a house stood. Its lights all turned off... all except one.

I know it's a little late to write a Christmas fanfiction, but here is one for the holidays. The idea came to me when it snowed... for the third time, but it is the first time we might get a reasonable serving of snow (and one that will actually last). :)

I plan for it to be a one-shot, but hey... no one controls inspiration, eh? ^.^

Actually, I have had many ideas lately, but since I'm working on other fanfictions, I didn't want to start a new one that I wouldn't finish...

But, well, I still posted this. ;P

And since I see many of my favorite fanfiction authors doing this, then, why not? Better safe that sorry:

Teehee, I thought it was too long, so I shortened it and used my own words. :)

Oh, and another thing. Sometimes, either consciously or unconsciously, I may use scenes or tidbits from stories/movies I've read/watched before. Don't be surprised if you have deja vu~ I don't mean to plagarize; sometimes it is actually a coincidence, at other times, I write something, and then afterwards, I realize I've seen or heard it from somewhere else... but I can't remember where. Et cetera. So think of my stories as sort of... patchwork quilts. I sew together my ideas along with the ideas of others... and hey, you get something interesting~ :P
