Jongup frowned as he cleared his throat, his concentrated stare boring into the sheets in front of him. He inhaled deeply before giving it another try, but his voice cracked again after barely two seconds. He could hear a soft laugh from across him and as he glanced up he found Daehyun smiling back at him.

"Better than before," the older remarked and Jongup smiled.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Jongup smiled wider, wetting his lips. His voice would never be as mesmerizing as Daehyun's, but he was learning.
