Pride, greed and power have driven his family into heartless human beings and it all started with him. He never showed his sons what a true father should be like and now it’s being passed on to his grandchildren. However, being the stubborn old man he is, he doesn’t act until he meets her. Horikita Maki is a twenty three year old woman with a lot of problems on her plate. Her gambling drug addict mother’s insane debt and her ill grandmother’s constant medical bills are constantly being served. Not to mention the house rent, electricity bills and daily needs. She’s had no choice but to give up her dream of becoming a doctor and instead became a nurse simply because she doesn’t have the money.

Yamaa Tomohisa is one of Yohiho’s grandchildren. Right now, he doesn’t care about anything else besides partying and wasting his money on girls and luxurious items.
