"I love you."

My heart stops beating, as my head pounds furiously. I was unable to think. The one I fell in love with. The one who broke my heart. Had confessed his feelings for me. Is he lying? Could he be wanting the attention he used to have? Could he actually love me?

"I-I..." I couldn't form a word. I felt suffocated, like I couldn't breathe. I didn't know what to think or believe. A part of me... Hoping that what he said is true.

I quickly broke free from his grip and ran. Something I always did. I ran away. Reaching my car, I quickly enter, panting heavily. Three words ringing in my head. Almost like a broken record. My chest was hurting as much as my head. I groan as I start my car. I drive home normally in hopes of getting Himchan off my mind. Entering my apartment, I collapse on my sofa. I close my eyes in hopes to forget relax.

I quickly pick up my phone and call him back. My breath hitches as I hear his voice.

"____? You there? Hello?" I laugh.

"I'm here. So? How'd you get my number?" I ask, smiling largely. YoungJae always seems to grab my attention from Himchan. I hear him chuckle.

"We exchanged numbers when we first met. Don't tell me you don't remember," he sighs. I immediately turn red, thanking God that it was a phone call and YoungJae couldn't see me right now.

"Of course I remember! I was... Um... Just testing you!" I laugh nervously. In response, I hear him burst out laughing.

"Uhhuh, whatever you say, ____." I frown, he was obviously smirking. We both laugh.

"So are you going to tell me what happened when Himchan dragged you away? Or do I have to force you to tell me?" My heart drops. Unable to respond, I sigh, frustrated with myself.

"Whoooa, I'm guessing not good," he says as he chuckles to himself. My heart clenches.

"He told me that he loves me," I say unable to hold back. I bite my lips as I hear silence.

I laugh awkwardly. "YoungJae, what do I do?" I say shakily.
