Coincidence? or no?
The Other Girl"It's me, YoungJae."
My eyes widen as I suddenly remember what had happened only weeks before.
"Hello YoungJae-ssi." I say quietly. I notice him frown.
"No need to be formal! Call me YoungJae!" he says smiling. I couldn't help but giggle.
"It's been awhile since we last saw each other..." he says looking in my eyes. I quickly shift my gaze to my coffee. My heart pricks as I remember the break up between me and Himchan. He clears his throat.
"Um.. So.. ____, do you come here often?" I shake my head and look up at him.
"Oh... Uh well, are you going to come here now?" he asks, rubbing the back of his neck. I smile at how cute he was acting.
"Yeah. I like it here. This place has nice coffee and it's pretty close to my university." I say, taking a sip of my coffee.
"Your university? By any chance, do you go to ▷▷ university?" I nod my head.
"Yes I do! I'm a junior there, do you go there also?" I ask smiling.
"Yes I do! Haha! So we are both juniors? Awesome. So, what are you majoring? I'm a major in technology," he says pridefully. I giggle.
"I major in literature," I say, smiling.
"That's probably why we haven't seen each other! We're practically on two different sides of the school." he says pouting. I smile at his adorableness.
"Do you eat lunch in the cafeteria?" YoungJae asks as he looks in my eyes. I shake my head.
"I haven't really eaten in the cafeteria... I have always eaten outside. I don't really know why, but I have always enjoyed eating outside and writing." I say as a smile forms on my lips. I hear him laugh and suddenly grab my hands.
"You should have lunch with me and my friends. I uh... Really want them to meet you," he says quietly, turning his face away from me to hide his blush. I smile at him.
"Sure, YoungJae," I see him smile widely.
Beep beep
I frown as my watch goes off. My eyes then widen as I look down at my watch.
"Oh my gosh! I'm going to be late for class!" I say getting up quickly.
"Oh crap," he mutters as he gets up, also checking his phone. He was about to leave when he hesitates.
"So? See you at the cafeteria, ____?" he asks. I smile and nod, before running off to class.
***********************************************************************
I sigh as I walk into the cafeteria, looking for YoungJae. I furrow my eyebrows as I notice Himchan instead, laughing and walking away with his real girlfriend. Frowning, I turn to leave for the library outside before I would start crying over him in public. No one went to the library during lunch. I turn my heels and begin to walk toward the exit of the cafeteria.
"____! There you are! Come over here!" My eyes widen as I turn toward the source of the outburst. I smile to myself and walk over to YoungJae. I awkwardly sit next to him as his friends look at me intensely. I clear my throat as I open my doshirak (a/n it means lunch. For anyone who didn't know.) trying to avoid all the eyes on me.
"Soooo, YoungJae. When did you get such a pretty girlfriend?" I blush and drop my spoon at the sudden remark.
"D-Daehyun! We aren't dating!" he quickly sputters. I bite my lip and look away. "Daehyun" suddenly grabs my hand. I look at him confused.
"M-may I help you?" I ask timidly. He lips curve into a smile.
"Aw, I thought you would remember me. I mean, you did run right into me." My eyes widen in realization.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! I-"
"It's fine, just tell me your name beautiful," he says as he winks at me. His remark gave him a smack at the back of the head by YoungJae. 'Was he really the masked man who didn't talk much to strangers as YoungJae sai
