Only my sister knows.

Description

The rain plummetted harshly onto the pavement, and the usual busy street filled with boisterous vehicles was hushed to a muffle by the heavy rainfall. It was almost 11 PM, but Sora wasn't home yet. We weren't close as siblings, but I perfectly understood the reasons for the abscence of love and trust between us. The sound of raindrops crashing into the window was so loud, I barely heard it when the front door opened.Quietly, I made my way into the living room to find Sora with her face turned sideways, as she delivered inaudible words to someone standing in the door way. She gently held out her hand to that person, and led him into the living room. That was the first night I saw him.He was dressed in a simple outfit consisted of black jeans, and a charcoal sweater. His chocolate brown hair lightly soaked by the rain obscured the side of a pale face. Such a beautiful person, I thought. Sora's eyes suddenly met mine, but she quickly adjusted her gaze back to the boy who appeared to be my age. She calmy announced that he was a relative whose parents perished in an accident, and he was going to stay here.At the time, I granted no further thoughts to the matter, but my mind lingered on the mysterious boy. Who is he? Where is he from? I didn't know anything. Nobody knew. Only my sister knows.
