Fashionably Late

Description

When Kris is fashionably late to meet his girlfriend, he learns the hard way about the importance of punctuality.

Foreword

The air was so cold that she could see her own breath as she exhaled.

 

This is what it must feel like to be a dragon, she mused, smiling slightly. Minus the thirst for blood of course.

 

She took her hands out of her pockets, inhaling sharply as the freezing air pierced her barely revealed skin. Her eyes narrowed as she caught sight of the time on her wristwatch. 

 

1:42. 

 

She stuffed her hands back into her pockets and then proceeded to kick the tiny pile of snow that had formed at her feet. 

 

He was late.

 

He was also--

 

"You are s-s-sooo dead, W-w-w-wu Yifan," she growled through chattering teeth. As she did so, another puff of air escaped from her lips. 

 

Okay, now this is definitely what it must feel like to be a dragon.

 

 

 

A few blocks away, a tightly bundled up man shuddered as an ominous icy chill suddenly ran down his spine. For some reason, Wu Yifan was almost certain that it wasn't just because of the cold...

Author's Note: So you know how when people start writing these things (and by 'these things', I mean 'stories') they kind of at least have some idea about what their story is going to be about and where it's headed? I am not one of those people, and this is not one of those stories. You've been warned.

Chapter 1: YES! You've finally updated! Very well-written. I especially enjoyed that bit about the Wu family jewels. I EAGERLY AWAIT THE NEXT CHAPTER.
