I lay on my stomach as i switch on the laptop . Its been a long time since i had a time on my own ever since i move back here , Seoul .

I'm Park _______ . I'm half Korean and half American . Makes me a .. Korican . Haha , ok . Well , i just moved back here a few weeks ago to continue my studies . I'm currently studying at Seoul Arts University . Imagine , an 18 year old female living alone , no one by her side . I have to live indepandently . Well do i have a choice ? Actually , i do .

My Umma's bestfriend , Mrs Lee lives here too . She did invite me to live with her but i decline right away . Why ? Two reason .

One , I don't wanna be a burden to her .

And two , she has a son , Lee Minhyuk

He's the same age as me .. And i think it'll be awkward if i stay with them . We kinda have a history back then . We were close , and i have these .. 'Feelings' for him . But whatever , i don't wanna bring it up . So , umma sugest at least to drop by and say hi to them. I groan at the thoughts of meeting him again . Suddenly my phone rings , signalling a new incoming call . I grap it from the table and answer it .

 

"Yeoboseoyo ?"

"________-ah ?"

"Ah , neh . Who is this ?"

"Its me , Minhyuk ."

 

My eyes widen as i got up from my position .

 

"Lee Minhyuk ?"

"Haha ~ Thats me ."

"Where did you get my number ?"

 

I ask , trying to sound normal . But trust me , its not . Its not normal to talk to a guy you once had a thing for after so many years .

 

"Omoni  gave it to me , I just wanna say hi and i miss you ."

 

I swear , at the moment , i felt like killing my umma . 'Damn umma ,why do you trust people so easily' i thought as i awkwardly laugh at his last sentence .

 

"Haha ~ Me too ."

 

Gosh , this is awkward .

 

"I was wondering , are you free now ?"

"Eh , uh .. Kinda , Wae ?"

"Lets catch up ... Again ."

"W-what ?"

"Ani .. its been a long time . Lets meet up . I miss you ."

"Uh , sure . Where ?"

"Remember the park we used to hang out together ?"

"Of course i do ."

"See you at 12 ?"

 

I look at the clock on the wall , 11.30 . I gasp as i got up from bed . How the hell am i suppose to be ready by 30 minutes ? I'm a female for goodness sake . Its impossibe .

 

"Sure"

Ok that didn't come out right . I mentally slap myself .

"Great see you ~"

 

With that i hung up and throw my phone on the bed as i run to the bathroom . I undress myself as i let the warm water flow on my milky skin . I sigh as i remember those time we use to spent together

We were just 6 years old back then . Young and innocent . We were sitting at our usual spot at the park , the bench .

"Minhyuk-ah ~"

"Ye ?"

"Do you like me ?"

"Ani .. I love you ~"

"Chincha ? Me too ~"

I laugh as i turn off the water and walk out the bathroom , to the closet . I put on some casual outfit , tie my hair up into a high ponytail , put on some natural make up and leave my apartment . Since the park isn't far from where i'm staying , i decide to walk . I smile as i look at the beautiful scenery . My smile got wider as i spot a familiar park not far from where i am . I fasten my speed as i enter the park . 'Nothing change here' i thought as i make my way to the bench where we always chill . I sit on it as i look around , smiling .

 

"Park ______?"

 

I look up at the guy standing infront me , recognize the baby face , i stood up .

 

"Lee Minhyuk ?"

"I miss you ."

 

He said as he pull me in for a hug . I slowly wrap my hands around his waist . We pull away as we look at each other , studying each others face .

 

"You've becoming prettier _____."

"Hahaha ~ aniya . Gomawo ."

 

We sit down at the bench as we stare at the kids playing around at the park .

 

“I knew you’ll be waiting here .”

“Haha ~ Where else would I be ..”

“You did not change at all .”

 

I look at him as I blink my eyes , not getting what he’s trying to say . He chuckle as he flick my forehead , like the old times .

 

“Yah ! That hurts .”

“And then you’ll be slapping my arms ..”

 

He’s right , I slap his arms playfully . Its kind off a routine for us . I would blink my eyes , he would flick my forehead , I would shout at him and slap his arms and he would just laugh .. Like how he is now . Except now I’m joining in . We laugh as talk and catch up like the old times . He talk about how much his family misses me and I talk about how I ended up moving back here . It’s a good thing I meet him . Its not that bad as I expect it to be . Suddenly he stood up and grab my hands .

 

“Kaja .”

“Where ?”

 

He pull me up and continue walking , ignoring my question . He did not change at all .

 

“Yah ! Lee Minhyuk .”

“Wait and see .”

 

I look at our hands , making contact . I blush as I look away . Suddenly , he stop his trace making me bump into him . I look around as my lips curve upwards into a smile . Its the ice cream shop where we’ll always go after playing around at the park .

 

“I miss this place so much .”

“Haha ~ Its been a long time since I step here .”

 

I look at him as he smile to himself .

 

“Ever since you left , I never been here .”

 

My heart beats rapidly as he smiles at me and pulls me in .

 

“The usual ?”

“Hahah ~ Lets see if you still remember .”

 

He laughs and ask me to take a sit by the window . I sit and wait for him . And my ice cream ~ I look at his back figure . He grown up so much . He’s even taller than me now . I laugh to myself when I remember those time when we’re the same height . Suddenly he sits opposite me as he pass my the ice cream . I smile .

 

“You remember , my favourite .”

“Of course I do . Cookies and cream ~”

“And yours is … Chocolate !”

“Haha ~ correct ! Lets dig in .”

 

He laugh when he realize I’m already my ice cream . I stuck my tongue at him as I continue eating it . Suddenly , he shove his ice cream in front me .

 

“You want some ?”

“Hmm ~ Sure .”

 

I some of his as I smile , making my eyes turn into a cresent shape . We just did an indirect kiss .

 

“Your eyesmiles are appearing again . Haha ~”

“Haha ~ You want some of mine ?”

“I thought you never ask .”

 

I shove it infront of him as he like countless time . I shook my head as he his lips .

 

“Yum ~”

We laugh at each other and continue eating the ice cream . Suddenly, silence take over the place . I look at him as I realize his eyes on me . We eye contact for a few minutes and look away blushing . ‘What was that ?’ I look at the time on my phone and gasp when I remember I still haven’t complete my homework yet . I shove all the ice cream in my mouth as I stand up .

 

“Minhyuk-ah . I got to go . I have some homework I have to complete .”

 

He shove the whole ice cream in his mouth as he stood up . I laugh at his dorkiness .

 

“I’ll sent you home then.”

“No its okay ..”

 

He ignore me and pull me out of the shop . I smile to myself . ‘He always get what he wants’ We walk together , side by side , still holding hands . Comfortable silence taking over the atmosphere .

 

“_______-ah .”

“Neh ?”

“Do you have feelings for me last time ?”

 

I look at him , startled by the sudden question .

 

“Why are you asking this ?”

“Why can’t I ?”

 

I sigh , defeated as I stop walking and look at him deeply in the eyes .

 

"Promise me you won't laugh ?"

"I promise .."

 

Here goes , I inhale a huge amount of air and face him .

 

“I do .. I love you more than a friend ... You ?”

 

He smile as he take a step , closing the gap between us .

 

“Me too . I love you . Back then .. And now .”

 

I smile at his confession as he cup my cheeks and lean forward , crushing his lips on mine . Those lips that I’ve been dying to taste . Its now mine . And only mine . I smile into the kiss as i wrap an arm around his neck as he slowly wrap his arm around my waist bringing us closer . We pull away as we pant for air . We stare into each others eyes , full of love .

 

“Park ______.”

“Hmm ?”

“Be mine ?”

 

I laugh at his cheesy confession and knock his head . He groan in pain as he look at me . I peck his cheeks and flash him my eye smile .

 

“Does that answer you question ?”

“Yes ."

 

With that he crush his lips on mine once again , but this time . We both know that now i'm officially his and he's officially mine .
