PROLOGUE

It was a dark and long December. My best friend and I was on my balcony. The first snow fell as I let my hand out to catch them. I look over at KangJun who stared out to the crowded street of Seoul, making me put my hands into my jacket pockets now. Silence filled the the air, yet we didn't bother to say anything. I had his scarf wrapped around my neck as we both can hear the sound of cars honking from up here now. I look at him again to see half his face that was pale, but handsome as usual. My eyes then joined in with his as I now look out to the crowded street of Seoul. It was a beautiful night.

"Junnie Oppa...." I said after awhile in a quiet voice.

"Mmm....", he replied still not looking at me.

"What do I do?", I felt my lips start to tremble and my eyes start to water. He looked at me who was now filled with tears. Why was I suddenly getting emotional? I don't know why either.

"W-What are you talking about?", he asked with a confused expression now. I then look up to the sky as I can feel my tears escape from my outer corner eyes.

"Our love was so pure....", I stated. KangJun knew that I was now talking about Junghwan who I've been dating for the last few years, "I thought it was just a dream. I was up so high looking down at the sky, thinking that everything was going to be fine.", I let out a forced laugh as I can feel the snow now blending into my tears, "People say what goes up must come down, but don't let me fall.", I now look at him who knew that something was wrong. His eyes widened wanting to know more, yet my lips wouldn't move to say the words. He stayed the same, hoping for me to say something in return. But, all I had in mind was what was he thinking about?

"Kana...", KangJun said my name. But, as if right now, that was all he could say, "Kana..."
