Jo Sooyoung is the 2nd child of the 'Jo' couple. Her parents forced her to work for her to be responsible, sociable and to be able to handle their riches in the future.

She works part-time at a cafe called "Jevalie De Cafe"

The cafe is owned by the sucessful couple the 'Jang'.

The 'Jang' couple has a son named Jang Kwanghee.

Kwanghee attends his school the same as where Sooyoung attends "Henshin High".

Both of them has the same school but still their world seems to be too far apart until one day Kwanghee visited their cafe and found out that their 'silent-moody-ice princess' was working there as a waitress with a poker face of a 'bubbly-lively' attitude.

Sooyoung only uses that poker face whenever she's in the cafe but uses her 'cold' attitude in the school.

She is not a sociable person.

Sooyoung has bestfriends:

Lee Taemin [The School's Dancing Machine], Kim Kibum/Key [The School's Diva], and Choi Jinri/Sulli [The School's Sweetheart].

Sooyoung keeps the title "The school's Ice Princess" because she never cares about the admiration of girl's and boy's for her, it never gets in her head and acts like nothing happens, always.

In the other hand Kwanghee [The School's Prince] discovered her part-time job. He makes an agreement to Sooyoung to not spread it in the price of hanging-out with him.

While Kwanghee keeps the secret his bestfriends:

Kim Jonghyun [The School's Singing Angel/ Kibum's older brother], Choi Minho [The School's Sporty Ace/ Jinri's older cousin], Lee Jinki/Onew [The School's Musical Genius/ Taemin's older brother] and Kim Jongin/Kai [The School's Dancing Ace/ Jonghyun and Kibum's Younger Cousin] discovers it and joins the team.

Sooyoung's bestfriends also discovers and later joins in. The 9 now makes a promise to never spread it and since that day the two different groups joined together and was later on called "Henshin's Ace Team / H.A.T"
