Tiffany Hwang is teacher at a private school in New York, and is also a hopeless romantic. With a number of failed relationships in her past, she's decided to give up on finding love and focus on her career. During the Christmas holidays Tiffany invites her family and friends from her hometown of San Francisco for a family get together. Wanting to impress her parents she takes the opportunity of meeting her co-worker at the school, Dong Youngbae, to pose as her fiance. He gladly excepts, seeing as he has always had feelings for her. Will Tiffany be able to pull off this lie? Or will the lie end up coming back to bite her?
