Ikeda Masa is a Korean/Japanese girl. Once her mother and father divorced and choosing to be with her mother, they go off to live in Korea. Masa's mother seemed to change a lot after the divorce. Becoming more care free and almost younger? Masa is completely distraught, not knowing to feel glad or hurt. Soon, her mother finds her apparent "man of her dreams", but to make the situation more unbearable this man is the father of the leader of the popular korean band, Shinee. Lee Jinki (or more commonly known as Onew) may be a responsible leader but does he make a responsible brother? Because of this Masa runs into trouble at her school, either having people up to her or hating her guts. Unfortunately, this leads to series strange rumours about Masa. Hearing this, Shinee members start to worry for Onew (who is oblivious to the whole thing) and Key begans to take action. Jonghyun, who fools around way too much makes a bet with Minho to go out with Masa. Minho (who is actually quite rash) agrees confidently. Sweet and curious Taemin (same age as Maka)quickly becomes just about Masa's only true friend. Taemin, who has a weak side to sympathetic things start believing that he is falling for Masa and Masa (a bit on the innocent side of knowing love) becomes confused at her admiration for Key.
