I stretched and walked out onto my front porch with my portfolio in my hands. I sighed and opened my portfolio to the right page, then I looked into my telescope. I adjusted the knob a tiny bit until the night sky appeared better. I pulled away and looked down onto the portfolio. 

 

I finally noticed I didn't have the right page and I must have accidently exchanged it with my friend. I groaned and ran a hand through my hair, I had to get it back today the project I was doing was due in two days and my friend was leaving the city tomorrow.

 

I ran out my house down my stairs until I heard some rustling in some bushes. I stopped and listened again, the rustling continued. I walked over to the bushes; there was some garbage bags beside it. I took a scared gulp and I hesitatingly reached out to open the bag.

 

I let out a loud yelp and I fell backward onto the hard concrete as I saw a girl inside. I got up and quickly checked if the girl was dead or not; She wasn't dead. Who could do this? I think silently. The girl looks pale and her eyes are lined with light colored eyelashes, her lips are a very pale pink but they're nice looking.

 

I grab the girl from the bag and carry her up the stairs to my house. I have difficulty opening my door but I do get it to open and I go to my room and lay her down onto my bed. I sit at my desk in my room and look at the girl on my bed, I haven't had a girl in my house since .... her. 

 

I suddenly find myself falling asleep on my desk.

When I woke up, I looked at the girl on my bed. She was still there and still asleep. Was she in a coma? Should I go to the doctors? Then I suddenly remembered that I had to get my papers! I grabbed my phone but somebody knocked onto my door.

 

I got up and I went to my front door, when I opened it I found my friend waiting and he held out the paper.

 

"Thanks! I was about to come get them myself." I said smiling.

 

"Yeah, no prob." 

 

We exchanged papers and I got back to my desk in my room. I open my laptop and start to research since I didn't get have any time to look at the stars yesterday. I could see the girl moving but I didn't pay any attention to her until she sat up.

 

"You woke up?" I asked.

 

She looked at me with pretty wide eyes and she backed up alittle as if she were scared. I smiled gently at her to tell her I wouldn't hurt her. 

 

"Are you hungry?" I asked another question.

 

She looked down and nodded slowly. I got up and grabbed her hand and led her into the kitchen. The girl sat at my couch silently and I went into the kitchen to make something for the both of us. I made some meat and kimchi; I grabbed some rice and setted the table.

 

I saw the girl's eye widen at the food and she bit her lip. I brought all the food to the table and she immediately started to dig into the food, she ate quite quickly and I couldn't help but laugh alittle as I saw food on her lips. I set a cup infront her just in case she needed it.

 

She looked up at me and she wiped her lips and drinked the water.

 

"Th-Thank you." She said softly.

 

I looked at her with wide eyes. She had the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. 

 

"Your welcome!" I replied with a smile.

 

I sat infront of her suddenly being serious.

 

"Do you have a place to go?" I asked.

 

She just shook her head slowly and I nodded. I let her finish eating.

 

"Ma-may I take a shower?" She asked.

 

"Yeah, I'll go get you a towel." I said.

 

I walked to my room and grabbed the towel hanging from my door. I went back to the girl and handed her the towel. 

 

"The bathroom is down the hall on the right." 

 

"Thank you." She bowed slightly and went.

 

I went over to my over sized map of Korea and marked the places maybe she could belong to. I don't realize how long I've stood there until the girl comes out of the shower, shes still wearing her clothes from before but she looks alot cleaner and healthier if possible.

 

She goes to sit on a chair; I cant stop staring at her and I take a gulp. She looks at me and I feel my face heat up as im caught looking. I go over to my fridge behind her and I stick my head into the freezer and I close the door trapping my head.

 

I slowly pull my head out as I hear her melodic laugh. I blush again. As the time passes, I learn that the girls name is Kyung Mi and she doesn't really remember what happened or how she happened to be in a garbage bag but I don't push her to remember.

 

When I look outside, its somehow already sunset from all that talking. I smiled.

 

"Do you want to see the stars?" I asked.

 

Kyung Mi nods and smiles too. I grab her hand and lead her outside onto my porch.

 

"Gotta wait til its the right time." I said.

 

Kyung Mi nods again, from the things I learned was that Kyung Mi doesn't talk alot.

 

"Do you  ..... do you have a girlfriend?" Kyung Mi asked softly.

 

I turned to her alittle shocked she would ask the question and I only shook my head. I suddenly started to feel alittle sad and depressed but I smiled anyways.

 

"You should try to smile with your eyes." Kyung Mi said. "Faking a smile is the worst thing you could do to yourself." 

 

I look down at my hands and I get up.

 

"I need to get something, excuse me." I replied and walked into the house.

 

I grab my portfolio from my room and walk back outside. I might as well do some of it now.

 

"Im sorry about the question earlier." Kyung Mi says twirling her fingers. "It was none of my business."

 

"Its fine." I replied patting her on her shoulder.

 

It was finally dark enough to see the stars and I set up my telescope. I look at Kyung Mi and shes writing something in a notebook. I look into the telescope.

 

"Kyung Mi, do you want to take a look?" I asked.

 

She walks over to me and I pull away for her to have enough room to look inside.

 

"Wah! Its so pretty!" Kyung Mi exclaims.

 

I laugh aloud at her and when she pulls away, I see her eyes sparkle. 

 

"I know it is." I replied.

 

Kyung Mi suddenly blushed. I couldn't help but think of how cute she looks.

 

"Cute." I suddenly said.

 

Kyung Mi looks at me with wide eyes and then she smiles shyly. Its my turn to blush and I rub the back of my neck.

 

"I-I ... mean ... Im going to the field tomorrow and theres some really cute bunnies there, d-do you want to come with me?" I stuttered making a excuse.

 

"I would love to." 

 

"Then when I set up my stuff we could go shopping for you." 

 

"But .... I don't have money." 

 

"Don't worry, I have some money you can use." 

 

Kyung Mi looks out into the dark and she looks back at me.

 

"Are you .... sure?"

 

"Im sure, times a million." 

 

Kyung Mi tucks a hair behind her ear and she looks at me with her big eyes.

 

"Thank you so much, for ... for everything."

 

"Your welcome."

I finished setting up my stuff in the wide open field. Kyung Mi is twirling around the field and she looks so happy. I had decided to go shopping for Kyung Mi first then set up my things. I looked at Kyung Mi and her hair is gracefully flowing around as she turns and gives little hops.

 

I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her happy expression. Kyung Mi slows down and she waves at me which I reply to with my own wave. She turns around and looks back at me with a content smile. Kyung Mi picks up the side of her dress slightly and twirls into a circle and she lets go of her dress and lets her arms go out wide.

 

I beckon her over to me as it starts to get darker and I wrap a purple blanket around her shoulders. Kyung Mi goes to sit down on a chair and I go over and look into my telescope then I adjust the knob. 

 

"Kyung Mi!" I called and waved her over.

 

Kyung Mi got up and walked over to me.

 

"Look up there, thats the first star up there. Look quickly." I said and pointed up at the sky.

 

"Up there?" Kyung Mi asks and points also.

 

"Yeah!"

 

Kyung Mi looks inside and I see her smile, I fix the knob more so she could see the star better.

 

"Wah!" Kyung Mi exclaims. "Theres another one!"

 

Kyung Mi pulls away and points. Shes right. Right next to the first star that appears is another one. I smile and look into the scope.

 

"Those two stars can be our stars!" Kyung Mi said.  

 

"Ours?" I say.

 

Kyung Mi nods enthusiastically and I let out a small chuckle. She was so cute. 

 

"Alright" I asked. "Are you hungry?"

 

"Alittle." 

 

I went over to my backpack and brought out some meat and went to my car to get a grill. I walked back to the area we were at and I set up the grill. I started to cook the meat and Kyung Mi brought over a drink for me, I thank her and grab it.

 

When the food starts to be ready to be eaten, I grab us some chopsticks and Kyung Mi picks one up and she puts it towards my mouth. I open my mouth and plops it in but its hot and im waving a hand infront of my mouth and opening my mouth.

 

Kyung Mi lets out a melodic laugh and I couldn't help but smile back as I swallow. I pick one up too and I put it into and she does the same thing as me, I hand her the drink I have and she takes it. I suddenly thought of indirect kiss and I want to whack myself at being so kiddish.

 

Kyung Mi picks up a big piece of meat and I open my mouth for her to feed me and she brings it close to my mouth but I cant bit it since she keeps on pulling it away from me. I let out a whine and Kyung Mi laughs again, she puts the meat back onto the grill.

 

After were done eating, were waiting for the stars to show up and Kyung Mi plops herself onto my lap. I look at her and she laughs softly. She turns around to look at me with her big eyes and we lock gazes. I couldn't look away and I suddenly found myself leaning forward.

 

Our lips are about to touch but Kyung Mi pulls away but shes still on my lap.

 

"Couldn't take my handsomeness?" I joked.

 

Kyung Mi blushes and jabs me playfully in the stomach. She gets off my lap and sits on the ground.

 

"You wish." Kyung Mi replies not looking at me.

 

Kyung Mi turns around and smiles at me and im about to smile back until suddenly I remember Baekyun doing the same thing, the smile slowly fades from my face. But Kyung Mi doesn't see and she continues to smile brightly.

A few days passed after that day. I see Kyung Mi on the couch maybe drawing and I go over to her curious of what she was doing. I try to look at it but she hides it at her chest.

 

"Awh! Cmon!" I say and try to grab the notebook.

 

Kyung Mi shakes her head and she pulls the notebook farther away from me. I pouted and Kyung Mi laughs. When I try to grab it again she jumps off the couch and walks away. Kyung Mi turns around and sticks her tongue out at me and I couldnt help but laugh it off.

 

I never knew then but thats when it all started.

I brought my telescope into the livingroom and started to clean the lenses, until my phone decides to ring. Kyung Mi sits on the couch infront of me and she looks at my phone. I go over and pick it up.

 

"Hello?" I say and try to multitask.

 

"Why did you take the abandoned girl in the plastic bag and make my stituation worse?" 

 

"Who is this?" I asked alittle scared.

 

"Just listen to me."

 

Im quiet and dont answer back. Kyung Mi looks at me with wide eyes and she goes back to the magazine she was reading.

 

"I know you had a girlfriend who went missing five years ago." The voice said. "I have your girlfriend."

 

My throat went dry and my veins freeze. He had Baekyun!? I felt fear ping my insides. I looked outside the window infront of me without moving one single step.

 

"Lets trade." The voice suggests."I need that girl now."

 

I hang up and slowly bring the phone down. Im confused I dont know what to do. I take a large gulp and look back at Kyung Mi. She looks so happy and beautiful but .... Baekyun was the one for me. I blink a couple of times and wished I wasnt in this kind of situation.

 

I cant stop looking at Kyung Mi. What did he want with Kyung Mi?

"Kyung Mi lets go to the field today." I say feeling so crappy.

 

"Alright!" Kyung Mi smiles and I feel my heart ache.

 

I smile back weakly and I take her hand. I lead us to the car and drive us to the field. I dont know why I decided this, why cant I save both? Why cant I have both? I know im being so selfish but I actually had fallen in love with Kyung Mi. I feel my throat close up and I feel like crying but I hold it back. I already made my decision.

 

I get out the car as we arrive at our destination. I open the door for Kyung Mi and I walk into the field. Meet me at the other end of the field once you've made your decision the voice had told me. I walked infront of Kyung Mi and led the way across the field.

 

As we near the other end, I feel like running away with Kyung Mi's hand in mine but I kept walking while hearing the happy little steps Kyung Mi takes. Then when I see a white car and a man holding Baekyun's hand, I want to run over and hug her.

 

I no longer hear Kyung Mi's foot steps and I stop and turn around. Kyung Mi no longer smiling and she looks scared. I walk over to her and grab her wrist and pulled her forward.

 

"Lets go." I said without a tone.

 

Kyung Mi pulls back and with fear in her eyes and she shakes her head.

 

"I don't want to." Kyung Mi says softly.

 

She looks like she going to burst into tears and I could feel my heart ache. I looked onto the ground not wanting to look at her beautiful pale face, I couldn't deal with the pain of leaving her with the creepy caller. I looked back at Baekyun and the guy. The man motions for me to come over there.

 

I look back at Kyung Mi, her eyes are watering and shes trembling slightly with her breath uneven. I look away and pull her forward again which she once again tries to resist.

 

"Dont do this." Kyung Mi says her voice heavy with sadness. "Don't go."

 

I stop and I take a deep breath not wanting to cry with Kyung Mi. Kyung Mi lets out a small sob. She grabs my hand and pulls me away from the car.

 

"Don't go." Kyung Mi repeats.

 

I remember all the time we spent together and I couldn't believe I was doing this. I remembered how her hair flowed when she ran through the same field we were in and how I almost kissed her lips. Tears fall down her cheeks and I pull her forward.

 

I forcefully pull my hand away from her and I throw her wrist away form me like she was garbage. Kyung Mi lets out another sob. I turn away and walk over to the car. I don't look behind me because I know I'll go back to her and I'll never be able to see Baekyun again.

 

When I get up close to the man hes very handsome and has tan skin. He smirks at me and he pushes Baekyun to me. I grab her into my embrace. I hear Kyung Mi crying in the background and the man walks behind me and over to Kyung Mi.

 

I wrap a arm around Baekyun's shoulder and we walk back the way I came from. I see the man pick up Kyung Mi in her arms and shes trying to get away. We walk past them.

 

"Ch-Chanyeol!" I hear Kyung Mi scream my name. "Chanyeol!!"

 

I feel my heart stop and I look up. I finally look behind me were alittle bit far away but I see her reaching out to me. The man forcefully drags her to the car and shoves her inside. I look away and I feel a bit empty inside. What kind of monster was I?

Baekyun is in the house sleeping and I walk outside my porch. I look at the sky and see two stars shining brightly. I looked into my telescope and realized something. It was our stars. Me and Kyung Mi's. I feel my throat close up and tears welled my eyes.

 

I hear Kyung Mi's words in my head. 

 

"Don't go." 

 

I left her. I fall to the ground and I finally let out all the feelings I couldn't before and I let out anguished wails.
