Tips for you, english people...This thing you just can't write.
Because yes, french is a ed up language, and some words are the same in english, but don't exactly mean the same thing. This is the best example I could get you : the verb bite. Just because it means to bite in english, doesn't mean that it's the same in french. Actually, bite is said 'mordre'.
But 'bite' (pronounced 'bit'), in french, means . Yes, we had to the languages up just to make it all the more awkward. That's the french delicacy for you.
So yeah, reading "I bite the fruit" for you becomes immediately "I the fruit" for us. Nice, isn't it ?
