Awkward ...
Faithfully
I can hear the sounds of water splashing like I’m at a beach,
and why is my lower body cold like it is wet?
I opened my eyes and saw that I was like at a paradise.
Am I dead? But if I am shouldn’t be heaven full of clouds?
When I looked around I noticed that I was at an island
“What the hell happened”
Then I remembered what happened:
[flashback]
“Don’t tell me we’re gonna crash?!!”
“Aish!! Can you just wear that darn life jacket!!”
he exclaimed and left me to push some buttons on the machine thingy that operates the plane
“yah! Answer me!!” I walked over him
“Fine! Yes we’re going to crash! Happy?!” What?!!!
“How can I be happy if we’re crashing?!, OMO!! Are we going to die?!”
“We’ll if you will wear that life jacket you’ll live” then he shoved me the life jacket and this time I listen to him
[end flashback]
“Ow my head hearts … I’ll kill that Seung-OMO where’s Seunghyun?!!”
I looked towards my left and right, and there I found him not far from me
Half of his body is almost still in the ocean
I tried to get up but I fell and saw my ankle was swollen
Darn !! it hurts !!
So I crawled towards him, and when I reached him
I tried shaking him but he didn’t woke up or even stirred
“Seunghyun!! Seunghyun !! wake up!!” I shook him and patted his cheeks
But it still doesn’t work. Then I remembered what my younger sister, Sohee, did at her latest movie.
It was the part when her leading man got drowned.
And this time I’m Sohee’s character and Seunghyun is my Leading Man
Ummm … eww?
“Oh My God do I really need to give him that mouth-to-mouth resuscitation ?!”
I exclaimed then looked at his very unconscious self
“*sigh* I guess I do …”
Then I positioned myself beside him, and placed my head near his.
I tried remembering how Sohee did it but when I think about it
,it always end up at the part that they started making out at the beach
Just like Seunghyun and I
Wait!! What am I thinking ?!!!
“Well .. here goes nothing!!”
Then I leaned in so I can give a CPR, but when our lips touched
I stilled as I felt that electricity and butterflies I felt
during our first kiss as a couple.
I was about to pull back but Seunghyun suddenly moved
,and placed his hand at my nape and turned us around
Which resulted to my body under his body.
I looked above and saw him wide awake then
He slowly leaned down towards me.
my body repeatedly saying that I should struggle and move away
but my body doesn’t move.
As his touched and cover mine, my eyes have closed.
I don’t know what spirit took over my body that
even though everything is done with us
I didn’t dared to move but instead I responded to his kisses
just like what I used to do on our make out session
which was in the past.
We kissed for God knows how long, until we felt the
need of oxygen.
We have stayed in that position, with our foreheads pressed together
as our breath mingled with each other.
As our breaths have stabled, he got off me
and stood up.
As I was about to stand he offered me his hand to help me.
I totally forgot about my ankle so just like earlier I fell down
,but this time Seunghyun catches me.
We are bathed in an awkward silence after that.
I tried breaking it but when I was about to open my mouth,
he beat me to it.
“Uhm … Yubin, I’m sorry about that”
He apologized will supporting me
“I-it’s nothing”
I answered, Why am I stuttering?!!
“So um … how is your ankle?”
He asked when we reached a coconut tree and decided to sit at its shadow
“Well … it still hurts but I think I can handle it”
Then again silence …
“So you and Taec ended up together”
I don’t know if I should answer it for it sounds like a statement rather than a question.
“yeah … how about you a-and Bom?”
He looked taken aback for me asking him, my ex-boyfriend about his
current relationship with my ex-bff, Bom.
“Well … she and I h-hooked up”
he answered and looked away, looking like he’s ashamed
“Oh … I see …”
and then for the third time , SILENCE.
“Yubin ah …”
I looked at him at eye to eye
“Do you love him?”
“Nugu?”
“Taecyeon”
“Oh … I do” I think
“How ‘bout me? do you still love me?”
