Everything is dark and you're alone. You can't see anything but you can hear someone's calling your name behind you. You turned around, feeling curious and anxious at the moment. When you looked deeper in the dark, you could almost see something shining.  The intense light literally burned your eyes. You squinted your eyes, trying to see what it is. The light shone brighter and it's gotten bigger. There was a car. The car was speeding towards you. In seconds, you would've been dead. Luckily, someone yanked you away at the right time.  And that person was Zelo.

 

You opened your eyes, sweat pouring down your face. You can feel your heart beating fast as you placed your hand on your chest. You managed to pull yourself together, trying to calm down. When your heartbeat was back to normal, you looked around. Everything seemed completely different from your room. Where am I?, you thought. You sat back, trying to remember bits from yesterday. You scratched your head when you didn't remember anything. Your throat was burning, craving for water. You turned to your right to pour yourself a glass of water when suddenly you noticed there's a bouquet of flowers near the glass.

 

You frowned, thinking who would leave it here. You immediately picked it up, and there was a card. Your name was written on it. You opened the card and read it.

 

Jagiya, I hope you'll wake up soon. I miss you so much.

 

                                                                                 Zelo  

 

'Oppa. You came? Where are you right now? I'm missing you like crazy, too', you sighed. You bring the bouquet closer and the scent of the fresh flowers made you smile. You somehow felt like Zelo is here, at the hospital somewhere. You put aside the flowers and drank some water to cool your throat. As you gulped the water down your throat, you heard someone turning the door knob. You knew immediately it was your Zelo when his tall shadow appeared on the hospital floor.

 

Zelo popped in and you waved at him with your sweet smile. He was obviously shocked to see you sat on the bed. 

'Annyeong, oppa', you greet him with a big smile on your face, happy to his cute face in the room.

'Ohh, jagi? You're awake! I knew you'll wake up!', Zelo squeked in excitement. He rushed to your bed and hugged you. Super-extremely-tight hug.

'Oppa. I. Can't. Breathe', you joked. 

'Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.' he pulled away. 'I'm just happy to see you're smiling', Zelo said while looking into your eyes.

'What happened to me exactly? Why, when and how did I end up here? I'm still confused.' you asked him in confusion, hoping that he can give you answers.

'Do you even notice that your head was plastered? You're involved in an accident. A reckless, drunk, stupid driver knocked you down. We were in the middle of our date. I don't know why I let you crossed the road alone that day. I would always held your hand when we're crossing the road, right?' you nodded. Then Zelo continued, 'Unfortunately, the car hit you and your head received minor injury. I'm just happy and grateful that you're alive, jagi', he kissed your cheek.

'What about the driver?', you asked, curious.

'He's in prison. Stop thinking about him okay? It's you who I'm worried about.' he said as he pinched your cheek lightly. You smiled at him and pinched his cheek back. 

'That explain my nightmare.', you murmured under your breath.

'Shh. Don't think about it. What you need to do now is, recover from the injuries. Okay? I'll always be here by your side, monitoring you, feeding you, giving you medicine. Everything.' he winked, making your heart melt like butter. 

'Okay, okay. Oppa, have you eaten? Your face seems a bit pale. And your lips are dry. It's cracking.' you traced your finger on his lips,concerned.

'How can I eat when you don't', he smoothened your hair and kissed on top of your head.

'Oppa, do you miss me that much? You can't stop kissing me, can't you?' you bit you lip, smiling.

'You have no idea. I slept here, on the sofa, right there. I keep waiting for you to wake up. I'll never get tired of that', he assured you with a kiss on your lips. As soon as he pulled away, he whispered something to you.

'Jagi, naekkoya',  your eyes widen and your lips formed a smile when you hear those two words. Zelo blushed, he's getting shy. 

'Zelo oppa naekkoya!', you screamed your heart out and Zelo burst out laughing cutely. 

'Jagi. Wanna go out? The weather's nice today. Let's go down to the park. Okay?', he asked with excitement. 

'Let's goooo !' you said childishly. 

'Wait here, I'll go get a wheelchair for you.' he exited the room and came back with your wheelchair. You stretched your legs, getting ready to stand up.

'No, no. Let me handle this. Just sit.' he said sweetly. Zelo moved to your side and bent his upper body. He scooped you in his embrace and put you gently on the wheelchair. You can't stop smiling when his face is near yours. That's why I love you, Zelo oppa. Both of you left the room as Zelo shut the door behind him. He pushed you through the hallways, heading to the lift.

As soon as you're out,  you can feel the strong sunlight pampering your face. It had never felt so warm and new to you before. You breathed in the fresh air, feeling relaxed. Zelo pushed your wheelchair around the park slowly, trying to in the warmth of the spring. The flowers were blooming prettily and the trees were greener than ever. Zelo stopped your wheelchair and he bent down, trying to pluck a flower for you. He tucked the small, red flower behind your ear.

'Am I pretty?', you did a cute pose with the flower behind your ear and he giggled.

'Of course you are! Even without the flower, you will always be my pretty girl', Zelo spoke with a soft voice.

He then stood up and pushed your wheelchair, watching you giggle. After a few minutes of strolling, he stopped your wheelchair in front of a bench and he sat down, facing you. Zelo curled his fingers between yours and you felt something funny running down your spine. You studied his face, and he studied yours. You smiled at him, acting silly and it made him giggled. His giggle somehow takes away your pain in your head-the after effects of the accident. 

 

'Do you know what I love about you?', you spoke to him softly.

'What?' he asked, getting excited and blushed at the same time.

'Your giggle. Your smile. Your face when you're embarassed. Your cuteness. But most of all, I love the way you treat me. Like right now. Whenever I'm with you, I feel safe and protected. I don't have to worry anything. You even make my pain disappear' , you rubbed his cheeks as they're getting red. 

'I just can't leave you alone. Even just for a day. Do you know how shattered  I was when I saw that car hit you? I keep blaming myself that I caused you harm. I feel like..' you shushed him, putting a finger on his lips. Hearing those words from him crushed you inside. 

'No. Stop blaming yourself. I survived right? And you get to meet me again. Don't ever blame yourself, oppa. I hate seeing you like this', you tried to calm him down. His tears were falling and you wiped them away with your fingers. You held his chin and looked into his eyes. 

'Just be grateful that I'm safe here, with you', you said as you kissed his cheekbone.

'I promise that I'll protect you forever', Zelo rubbed the back of your hand. 

'Jagi naekkoya. Mine, forever.' he continued. He tilted his head and kissed your lips softly, trying not to hurt you with your injuries. You kissed back and he pulled away a moment later. He rested his head on yours and drew a smile on his face.

The sun was hanging low and it was getting a bit windy that evening. Both of you didn't realize that time had passed and night will settle in in just two hours. You were getting chilly and you keep rubbing your arm, trying to warm your body from the cool breeze. Zelo noticed you and he buttoned down his jacket. He threw his jacket over you, hoping that you'll feel warm and won't catch a cold. You looked at his face and grinned.

'Thank you, oppa',

'You're welcome. I don't want you to catch a cold so, let's go back to the hospital. It's getting late.' Zelo responded. He stood from the bench and pushed your wheelchair, making his way to the hospital. 

'Oppa, Wait.' Zelo frowned and stopped walking. 

'Why? Are you hurt somewhere? Tell me', he's getting anxious. You laughed watching he reacted so silly. 

'Oppa, bbo bbo', you pouted your lips, asking for a kiss. Zelo unhesitately bent down and kissed you. He even kissed your nose, your cheeks and your forehead, without being asked. You giggled, feeling funny as he kissed you all over your face.

'Want some more?' he asked, cupping your face. You shook your head with a smile on your face and he pinched your nose. 

'I love you okay young lady? Now, let's go back to your room', 

'Do you love me more than your skateboard?' you asked him teasingly and sticked out a tongue, trying to annoy him

'Of course! I love you more that my skateboard.' he replied with full confidence.

'Okay then. I love you too, oppa', you said as you smiled sweetly to him. Zelo smiled too and he blushed, again. He couldn't resist your cuteness, EVER.
