Love was a strong word for the man, maybe like would work better, after all they were still almost strangers. As they grew closer so did his interest in her. You could tell by the look in his eyes. Maybe it was something akin to love, just maybe. But what about her? What did she feel for him? Did she love him? He couldn't tell and quite frankly he wasn't concerned with that right now. For right now he just wanted to enjoy her company as long as he could have it. As time went on maybe love would bloom there, maybe not. But for right now, live wasn't their concern. Only the future could tell if love was meant to be there or not.
