So I let her hit my shoulders as many times as she wants until she gets tired. Judging by the force she's putting into her punches right now, I can guess that sooner or later, she's going to break down.

I didn't say anything.

Because that's the smartest thing that a guy can do during at a time like this.

Let them cry their hearts out first, wait for them to calm down, and when their eyes aren't as puffy a minute ago, comfort them by telling that it's going to be alright. I know myself that that phrase has been used many times now.

But that's why it's so over used.

Because when it comes out right from your mouth, you'll be glad to see that they're already smiling back at you.
