Taeyeon was getting a splitting headache from the constant nagging of her fellow member, Seohyun. The car-sickness that was accumulating from the van ride did not help. She knew that everything Seohyun said was for her own well-being. However, she was not feeling very politically correct at that moment. She massaged the bridge of her nose and inhaled deeply. Not getting the hint, the youngest member kept talking. Taking pity on her distressed best friend, Sunny responded to Seohyun, “That’s enough now, maknae. Tae’s tired. Let her rest.”

Seohyun did not want to give up, and was about to retort back before catching the glare sent by the shortest member. She sighed at her teammates’ stubbornness, ironically. She decided to continue the discussion with their leader the next day, after all of them have rested well enough.

The atmosphere quitened down after that. Sunny plugged in her music player and ignored the two other members for the rest of the ride. As soon as they arrived at their dorm, Seohyun went straight to her room and locked herself in. Her roommate, Hyoyeon glanced questionably at the other two members of the short trio. Sunny nodded at Taeyeon who was heading to the kitchen, implying that they keep it down for now. Getting the hint, quickly unlike her roommate, Hyoyeon returned her attention to the television screen.

“No one else home?” the kid leader asked while rummaging through the fridge. “I thought that only Sooyoung and Yoona had some filming to do.” She checked their schedule list pinned to the fridge for confirmation.

“Yeah. Fany and Yoona are out shopping. Sica’s with… Krystal and her group members,” Hyoyeon responded with a deadpan expression.

“Lies,” Taeyeon said while unwrapping an ice-cream cone. “f(x) is in Japan right now. You can tell me the truth. I don’t care. Anymore,” she added, her eyes glazing over.

Hyoyeon looked briefly at Sunny before replying, “Sorry. It’s a habit.” She stopped herself before another slip of tongue could be made. The brunette girl snapped back her attention to her friends in the living room. She chuckled.

“Habit, eh?”

Hyoyeon looked down apologetically. She turned to Sunny for help. The girl narrowed her eyes at her, trying to tell her telepathically that not even the country’s greatest comedian could help diffuse this situation.

Taeyeon sighed. “So, where is she? I assume she’s out with Brian?” Brian was another group’s manager, someone who Jessica had been seeing.

Hyoyeon shook her head, no. “Kyuhyun.”

“Ahhh.”

Silence engulfed the trio. Taeyeon finished her ice-cream and went to her room. The two girls outside then heard the sound of something being snapped into pieces. Another Super Junior CD bit the dust.
