Description

They say not to judge a book by its cover, especially not when that person has a dark secret.

Foreword

The water dripped from the ceiling, creating a small puddle in front of her. She glazed aimlessly at it and didn't notice that someone had opened the cage to her cell. She felt someone nudge her on her side and looked up to see one of the faces that she despised so much.

"Get up; the boss wants to see you." he commented, pulling her up by the front of her clothes and pushing her out of the cage. The front of her body impacted the cold grey walls then she was pushed again and headed towards the door.

Walking out of the basement, there was an instant change in scenery; it went from dark to bright in an instant as she was standing in an empty hallway filled with famous paintings and rich artifacts. The guard pushed her again until they got two towering doors. Opening it, she willing stepped into the room and faced the man in front of her.

He was an aging man in his late fifties. Graying black hair and the visible wrinkles would make anyone think that he was just a normal man, but he's not; not when he is known for being the wealthiest man in the world and as they say, great wealth means great power.

"I'll make you a deal." he said, that caught her interest immediately seeing that he would normally just give her the assignment and then leave. He slid a navy checkbook down to her end and she picked it up then looked at it, her eyes becoming wide once she saw that the account under her name had over 3.5 billion won* in it. "I'll let you go if you do one more mission for me."

"What's the catch?" she asked, knowing that he would never let her walk out of here on her own.

He chuckled, but then he smirked. "You're free to do whatever you want." he said. "However, if I need something done in the future, I will call on you."

"And if I refuse in the future?"

He lifted up his left hand and bought up a gun, but she stood there, unaffected. He cocked the barrel then pushed the trigger. A loud bang was heard throughout the room, but she stood firm. "Next time, it won't be a blank."

*3.5 billion won is equal to ~$3 million USD

After much debate with myself, I finally decided to post this story up. This story is purely an experimental story to me and I'm quite unsure with how this will turn out, but I guess it depends on me and how many people are interested in it.

will be continuing Singing in the Rain and this is just a side project for me to work on cause I tend to love writing more than one story at a time.

Updates will vary with these two TEEN TOP stories, so I hope that my readers would continue to love both.

Also, both stories has no relation with one another.

Title: Different
Author: blacknightsky
Main Character(s): TEEN TOP plus OC
Other Character(s): A bunch of fictional people!
Pairing(s): L.Joe | OC | C.A.P
Rating: PG-13
Warning(s): Rated PG-13 because of some mild violence. I will not go into detail, but to say, this would be somewhat watered down.
Note: Unlike my other story, TEEN TOP just happens to be normal teenagers in this one. It makes it simpler for me because while I type, I don't have to worry about how the fake media would react in the story.
Start: 11.03.15
End: 11.05.07

So I read this all in one go after stumbling across it and I must say this was well done. I'm rather sad about the ending though, and I think that a lot of readers would agree that daaaamn gurl, why you gotta end it like that?! But in all seriousness, this was definitely unique, I enjoyed the read.
