Once upon a time—for that is how all stories should begin—a terrifying incident scarred the life of a young lady,
unknowingly caused her to shield herself from the outside world.
Having to witness such a misfortune, the young lady was introduced to an acquaintance that—in hope—might be able to help her.
But of course, in every hope bears an inevitable repercussion one may never have expected.

Foreword
No matter how much he tried, he could never not think about her, the cousin of his best friend,
the young lady named Choi Sooyoung that had entered his life two weeks ago.
He was simply intoxicated by her alluring features, her undeniably beauty that has left an uncanny and unexplainable feeling in his heart.
Confused at first with his clouded judgement, Shim Changmin chose to ignore the distraction in the form of that young lady.
Everything went well until he realized that he was irrevocably and inescapably in love with her.
And deep down, he held onto a hope that she felt the same way about him.
But... what were the odds?

{Mirage is like a gloomy morning where you go out in your thickest clothes to prepare yourself for the downpour.
But then, all you got is a warm afternoon with the sun peeking shyly from a mass of grey clouds.
You enjoy the day and go home and then thunder lashed and the promised storm arrives.
You feel sad that the warm afternoon didn’t last but at the same time, you are glad that at least it happened.
