Foreword

love at first sight always seemed so far-fetched to Park Chanyeol.
how can you simply love someone at first glance?
without bothering to look deeper or get to know them, you assume you're in love?
absurd.

but then there was her.
she, she was breathtaking.
she was unreal.
she was beauty at its finest.
she had the face of a goddess
hidden under her bashful bangs.
she radiated the girl-next-door feel,
and yet that simplicity made her all the more intriguing.
and oh, could the woman smile.
her lips would curl upwards
in the most friendly,
sweet, and warm manner concievable.
she brought joy to the atmosphere by simply glinting her pearly whites.
and Chanyeol was sure, so positively sure,
that the smiles she emitted
were made for him.

but as she passes him at the subway cross-section,
realization hits him;
he'll never see her again after this fatal encounter at the station.
this would be the last he would see of her angelic features.
the last he would see of her welcoming smile.
he longed for the courage to approach her
before she walked away forever.
he prayed for a chance to see her again,
to maybe catch her attention next time.
hopefully.

sadly, Chanyeol's luck is minimal.
in the busy streets of seoul, who is he to have hope for another encounter
with the angel herself?
there was no chance,
no possible way,
no plausible miracle,
that would allow him to see her again.
that's it.

or is it?

because, of course,
people say that when you truly love someone,
they always come back for you in the end.
but of course, Park Chanyeol doesn't believe in love at first sight,
right?
he doesn't love this girl,
right?
he just saw her briefly on a subway, she doesn't matter,
right?
or could it be...

Park Chanyeol... is this love?
