“This is your Grandpa Michelle Jang say hello” said my auntie

“Hello” I said timidly as I saw the old face of my grandfather

“I can’t hear you he yells loudly. And from now on your name will not be Michelle Jang it will be Jang man ok which means man of the house!!” he yells at me

I say nothing but look at my auntie and give the most scared look in my life

“From now on you will be staying with grandpa. Ok sweetie”

“No auntie I want to go with you please don’t leave me here auntie please

"Im sorry sweetie but its for the best."

15 years later

“Bye grandpa I will see you when you get back, saranghaeyo Halapoji I will see in 1 year”

            “Yes he’s finally gone” I squeal into the phone

“I’m not sure if we should do this?” says my best friend

“Don’t worry the old man is gonna be gone for a year come on…..” I say eagerly
