Ha Neul had tried her hardest to resist his company; she was sick, after all, and she didn't want anyone else to hurt if she left. However, this was Kim Himchan, and you couldn't exactly resist the good-looking man. Little by little he had cuddled up next to her heart, and soon Ha Neul found herself caring deeply for him. It scared her, made her dread each visit to the hospital because she feared that one day the doctor wouldn't be smiling when he came in with her file. Before Himchan, she had accepted her fate, but now...

Now she didn't want to go without a fight.

Himchan had walked in on her by chance. She was waiting to be examined by her doctor, though for what he didn't know. She had tired eyes that seemed to have held a sparkle once, and Himchan found himself wanting to be the one to bring it back. Why? He didn't know that either. What he did know was that she needed someone, and he was definitely someone.

What lies ahead for these two isn't all pretty, and there will be times when they hurt, but if they hold on for long enough, maybe that last chance will be all they need.
