Characters:

Jang Seo Young (OC) : A spirited, young girl who loves painting, and specializes in oil impasto painting. She has had an average life, so far, and she is a person who accepts whatever comes with a straight face. She is very witty, and has an amazing sense of colour. She can also be very stubborn.

Jang Yeon Hee: Seo Young's sister. Very businesslike, bossy and extroverted. She can also be very sweet at times. She marries Jung Yun Ho.

Kim Hyo Yeon: She is a music producer. She and Seo Young met in high school, and they found, a few weeks later, that they were inseparable. 

Lee Jung Ha : She belongs to a very affluent family. Her life is one of a typical rich daughter, who is expected to sit pretty and get married later.She has a mundane desk job at her father's company. But she loathes every bit of it, and wants to change. She loves art, and wants to forsake everything to explore the world through it.

Kang Hyo Jin: Her life revolves around art. She's been painting ever since she was three, and she loves doing what she does. But she's run out of expression. She's run out of inspiration.

Characters from EXO:

Wu Fan/Kris: Looks very cold, but is actually a very funny person. A big show-off. Likes showing people he's artsy-fartsy. He specializes in water colour. He's Yun Ho's best friend.

Xiu Min: A very cute-looking guy. He works as the intern curator of a big museum. True to his looks, his personality is also very cute. He is a clean freak, and has a funny way of expressing emotions.

Kim Jong In: A very smart, domineering guy. He loves being bossy, and hates people disobeying him. He hates losing, and hates anyone winning over him. He is a PhD candidate, working on a thesis related to quantum physics.

Do Kyung Soo: Astruggling writer. He is very thoughtful, and  usually serious. But he has an entirely different side to him which only close friends know, which cracks silly jokes all the time.

Lu Han: A musical prodigy. He plays the piano, violin and oboe. He is very diffident, and his real feelings come out through his music, because he had suffered trauma due to an accident when he was three.
