Once upon a time, when the land was in peril, the Council sent forth a stone that gave an ordinary person extraordinary powers.  The person, known as The Keeper, had to qualify for 3 characteristics: Innocence, Pureness, and Love.  Once these were found in a person, s/he could become the chosen one.  However, the Council had enemies who were great in power and seeked to use the stone in the name of chaos.  Because the Stone wiped clean the memory of some of it's Keeper's past, the Keeper might be in danger for s/he would not know about anything related to the council, the Stone's power, and the Evil Ones.  Alas, the Council had prepared for this.  They grouped together a group of six warriors, each who had different powers.  They came from far and wide and from the groups of angels or devils.  They were thrown into the world of the humans to protect the Keeper and try to bring her/him to the world of Spirits.

However, when the time came for a Keeper to die, the Stone would be passed on to a new Keeper and the cycle continued.  When the Keeper dies, her/his body withered away to dust to show no existence of the Keeper and to help keep the next Keeper hidden from the Evil Ones.  The same happened for the warriors and sometimes this would happen many times for the Evil Ones would not rest until they had possession of the Stone.  However, the new warriors would not know much either for they had not much experience in actual combat and so they had much to learn.  They had to keep hidden from humans for whenever one saw them, they were really attracted.  They could also be an agent for the Evil Ones or the Evil Ones themselves and be killed.  Planning yet again for this too, the Council created a special amulet that once worn by the warrior, kept her/him hidden and protected from the wants of humans and Evil Ones alike.

This time around though, a Keeper is picked in haste, warriors are sent with some human world education, and the human world is not prepared.
