It was early in the morning when my mother woke me up. "Hara, just eat your breakfast with Minho... Me and appa will be out with your auntie and uncle..." mom said.

"Alright." I replied.

I got up and went downstairs with mom. I saw Minho eating breakfast on the table. 

"We're going now!" Umma said.

"Buh-bye!" I replied.

I sat down on the chair beside Minho to eat breakfast with him. He just stared at me for a second and he suddenly looked away.

I pouted.

Minho looked at me and said nothing.

"Well... remember... grandmother hates ugly girls." I told him.

This is why I wanted to be surrounded by ulzzangs. And, I myself... I wanted to be an ulzzang.

"Grandma, do you think I'm going to marry a handsome guy?" I asked.

 

 

"NO!"

 

 

"MWUH!?" I was so surprised.

"No! You're ugly!" 

 

 

And... after saying those words...

 

She got a heart attack...

 

She died.

 

I got traumatized from what happened. Because of that...

 

I promised to myself...

 

I'm going to be pretty.

 

I will be an ulzzang!

 

I won't let ugly girls surround me!

"But still..." Minho looked away. He stood up, but I held his wrist. He looked at me and pulled his hand away.

"I'll change. Give me a chance!" I said.

"I don't think you could... I've heard from people that you were a bully in Busan." he looked away.
