You went back to your homeland to get in touch with your highschool and long distance boyfriend. You were pretty sure that you still stand in the same relationship you two built more than 4 years ago. But then, he's not the same person he was anymore. He's now one of the top rookie idol in the entertainment business. Can you really be the plain jane girlfriend of EXO's duizhang?
But then another leader comes along, but landed on a wrong foot. You were pretty sure you hated him, but hate is too much of a word, right? After all, you and Kris started off hating each other at school then. It also didn't help that you're learning the dark side of the idols' lives bit by bits, but can you really let Kris drag you in to the dark life he had called 'fame and his dreams'?

Foreword
Prologue
After a gruelling 4 years of studying overseas, you’re finally going back to Korea for your much awaited vacation; slash your graduation gift from your parents. You seldom go back to your homeland now, because all your relatives have migrated to, if not US, around the neighbouring countries in East and Southeast Asia.
You just miss your old high school friends, and although it was a struggle to keep your contact and relationship with them, you still get to talk to them from time to time, only via online. It was a struggle, yes, but they’re the only ones you have back home. You don’t dare say out loud to your parents, but you prefer living in your homeland. Who wouldn’t? After all, there’s no place like home.
“Dear, take a break with your packing. I made some kimbap downstairs,” Your heard your mom called out to you from the outside of your room.
Of course, despite being away from ‘home’, your mom would always work hard to give you and your father authentic and ‘real’ Korean food on the table. But still, authenticity means being in your homeland.
“Okay mom!” you called. You paused the video you were playing on loop on your laptop. You smiled. You’ll finally get to see him again. He is the reason you’re most bitter about moving overseas. Your high school boyfriend. You just graduated high school then, and you and him were the perfect couple in your high school. Him, being the most handsome, and gentleman that every girl wants. And you, being the straight A’s, most sought after junior girl, even by the senior boys, simple, but the most pretty in his eyes.
You can’t wait to finally see him again. But the question is, will you be able to meet him again? Now that he’s one of the top idol group in Korea?
You smiled smugly despite of yourself. ‘Of course, he loves me. He said he’ll always love me, and will wait for me to come back.’
You zipped up the last of your luggage, and looked around your accomplished work.
“Kris Wu, wait for me, okay? We’ll see each other soon.”
