I look at the man in front of me, a smirk plastered on my face, hand playing with the necklace around my neck. "Ms. Kim, you have been nothing but a burden to this school. Your 'little' pranks will not be tolerated anymore. From this point on, you are expelled from this school." He says to me. I flash a smile, "I got it. So, are we done here?" He glares at me when he hears my response. I take that as a sign to leave. I pick up my book bag and leave his office, closing the door behind me.

I step into the hallway and start making my way towards an exit. "Aw... the class joke got kicked out today?" I hear the main girl of the popular- es of the school say to me. Her friends laugh along with her. I give a sarcastic smile to them as I flipped them the bird. " off." I say before walking away. I could feel their smirks, but I don't look back.

I step inside the house, the scent of burnt food smacks me in the face. I sighing, knowing that Aunt Ann cooked whenever she was feeling down. She at cooking, always has, always unfortunately will. "Jae!" Oh no... she sounds mad...

"Jae! Come in here!" Aunt Ann calls from the dinning room. I put my stuff down before going to her. She has a look of exasperation when I enter the room, "What?" I ask. "Don't 'what' me. You know exactly what you did. The question is: why?" She glares, taking a sip of her tea. "Aunt Ann, they were just little-" She rolls her eyes at the word "little". "Well... it's not exactly-" She makes a face. "Look... I'm sorry. Okay? I didn't think this would happen. So...sorry." I look down at my feet as I apologize.

I hear her sigh, taking me into her warm arms. "You're just like her..." She whispers. I put my arms around her, unable to say anything.

We hear someone clear their throat, "I don't mean to interrupt but, I need to set the table." My uncle sheepishly says. I feel Aunt Ann break the hug as she turns to look at him. "Thanks for ruining the moment." She glares. Uncle laughs as he puts his hands up, "Look, I would fight you, but I wouldn't want to embarrass you." "Boy... I swear, how am I still with you?" Aunt Ann jokes, smacking his arm before going into another room.

I smile at the pair, happy to see them so in love. I turn to Uncle Chun. "I'll help set up the table." I say, grabbing some plates. "Hey! While you guys are setting up the table and everything, you should try my cookies!" Aunt Ann yells from the kitchen.

"No!" Uncle Chun and I yell in unison.

I lay in my bed, rubbing my belly. I ate a lot more than usual, and I managed to escape Aunt Ann's cookies. Too bad Uncle Chun had to, the poor guy look like he wanted to throw up. I turn on my stomach and closed my eyes, wanting to fall into my dreams.

"Jae!" Aunt Ann bursts into my room. I grumble, slowly turning my body towards her. "Tomorrow we're going to go pick up your uniform at your new school, okay?" I look at her, "You seriously found a new school for me? That fast?" She beams, "The headmaster is an old friend." "Headmaster? Is this a private school or something?" She nods. I couldn't help but grimace, a private school? Seriously?

"Give it a chance Jae. You might like it-" "I doubt it." She sighs, "Jae. Be lucky a school even accepted you, you know what happened with your last school..." I look at her face before turning away. "Fine. I'll give it a shot."

Aunt Ann warmly smiles at me. "Thank you. Now I'll see you in the morning. Sweet dreams sweetie," She says as she closes the door. I look at the door for a while, my hand playing with my necklace. "What do you think mom?" I ask though I know there will be no reply. I look down at the amulet. I lightly trace the outline of it with my finger, I sigh to myself.

I miss you guys.

"Jae? You up?" I hear my uncle knock at my door. "HM...?" I moan, not wanting to leave my precious bed. He laughed, "Rise and shine ugly." I throw my pillow at him and he easily dodges it. "Breakfast is almost done, so come down when your ready." He says, throwing the pillow at my before leaving the room.

I look at the ceiling as I lay there for a while.

Well... I guess it's time to get ready for my first day of school... 

I get up up out of bed, feeling strangely refreshed. The weekend went by too fast for my liking, but it was relaxing nonetheless. I make my way to the bathroom, doing my business before washing my hands. I brush my teeth, then soon after, I make my way back to my room. I look at the uniform hanging on my closet door, resenting it. It was such a pain getting it on Saturday, but never mind that. I took the uniform off the hanger, then proceeded to put the dammed thing on. I look at myself in the mirror, I scoff at the sight. I actually look proper for once. Cool.

I head downstairs, going straight for the dinning room. I plop myself into a chair, putting my things next to me. I top my plate with pancakes, pouring syrup over them. "Good morning sweetie," Aunt Ann greets, looking at me amused. I give her a small smile, "Morning. Where's uncle?" "He left for work already," She said, sipping her tea. "Always drinking tea, Auntie" I remark. She chuckles, "Oh shut up will you? I made all this delicious food, and here you are, mocking me." I roll my eyes, "Sure, you made this." Mischief twinkles in her eyes, "Yep, yep." she laughs. I couldn't help but laugh with her.   

"Oh snap, is that the time?" I said, looking at my phone. I quickly eat my food before getting up. "Have a nice first day at school," Auntie says, looking up from her book. "I'll try." I reply, picking up my book bag. I walk out the room, "Try not to get in trouble!" She yells. I put on my shoes, "I'll try to!" I laugh before stepping out the house. I slip in my earphones, starting my journey to school.

Well... I guess this is it.
