Kris ruffled his hair in fustration. His teacher Mr.Kim was making him do useless math problems. It was 8:30 and the school was empty. Everyone expect Mr.Kim and Kris were gone home. This was the first time Kris had stayed this late.

Kris put up his hand for the millionth time 

"yes Kris?" Mr. Kim said without looking up from the papers he was marking

"Can I leave Mr.Kim? It's already so dark outside and I have done soo many problems" Kris said looking at his teacher annoyed

Mr.Kim looked at his watch and smiled "I'll right Kris, you may leave"

"really?" Kris quickly got up and put his books in his bag not waiting for an answer. He tried to get out of the classroom before his teacher changed his mind but failed

"Kris" Mr. Kim called just as Kris was about to run got of the classroom

Damn! So Close!

"yes Mr.Kim?" Kris said as he turned around

"Enjoy your day" Mr. Kim smiled

huh? Enjoy my day? Well you ruined most of it by keeping me here!

"I will" Kris said and ran out of the classroom. He quickly rushed to his locker and threw his math textbook and closed his locker before it fell out. Then he rushed to his car and started the engine and drove out of the parking lot. When he got on the road he dailed a number. After 2 rings he heard a voice

"hello?" Kris smiled hearing the soft voice of his boyfriend

"hey baby, where are you?" Kris said smiling thinking of his boyfriend

"why do you want to know now? You ignored me for more than 5 hours and now you wonder where i am?" Kris heard the disappointed in his boyfriend's voice

"I'm sorry Lay baby! It's just that stupid Chen kept me in his class for no reason?" Kris said trying to explain 

"oh I see you're calling him Chen again! I thought he was your teacher huh Kris?" Lay argued 

"Lay don't misunderstand, I just feel so weird calling him Mr,Kim since he's our age" Kris explained.

"whatever" Kris heard Lay mutter

"Where are you, I wanna make it up to you" Kris said as he stopped on a red light

Lay signed before replying "your house" 

"MY HOUSE?" Kris's eyes widened "but lay, no one's at home and the doors are locked"

"That's why I'm outside waiting for you" Lay said 

Waiting outside?!?! BUT IT'S SOO DAMN COLD!!

"I'll be right there!" Kris hung up not wasting anymore time. He could have aruged but he knew that Lay always won, so he didn't even bother instead he speeded up the car so it was travelling maximin spped

In 5 minutes Kris parked his car in the back ally and got out. He looked around his backyard and when he saw no sign of Lay he headed for his front yard. As ran into the front yard his eyes widened. Everywhere on the front lawn were colorful balloons with bunch of lights all around the lawn and in the middle stood lay holding a birthday cake. When Lay saw Kris he smiled showing his cute dimples and slowly walked through the piles of balloons singing in his angelic voice

Kris watched as Lay came up to him and said "happy birthday handsome" before planting a soft kiss on his lips.

Kris just stood there unable to say anything. This was the first time someone did something like this for him. Usually everyone would just wish him, no 

presents, no cakes, no parties, just words. Kris looked at the boy infront of him and tears formed in his eyes. He immediately pulled Lay into a hug

"Yah Kris! I'm holding a cake!" Lay giggled obvious not mad

Kris didn't move, he kept holding on to Lay crying tears of joy while Lay smiled. 

"Lay... Thank You" Kris said in between sobs

"your welcome" Lay smiled still holding the cake

The moment was perfect. From the far it looked like a couple were hugging while one held a cake in the middle. The perfect picture,,,,
