Pressconference

Saving All My Love (For You)

No One’s POV

“Are you two ready?” Bum asked Myungsoo and Ha Rin with a hint of worry in his voice.

Myungsoo and Ha Rin glanced at each other in silence holding each other’s hands firmly as they were sitting beside each other on the couch inside a room by the hotel’s function room.

“I still don’t get why our parents thought about this pressconference when they could just face the reporters themselves to clear the issues.” Min Young stated in frustration.

“It’s the best thing to do at a time like this Min Young-ah, to save our company, our siblings and most importantly our family’s reputation.” Bum told her.

Min Young knew Bum had a point so she silenced herself and stood in front of her sister and Myungsoo.

“Can you two handle this? They can throw any question at you, are you sure you can do this Ha Rin-ah?” She asked her sister directly.

“I know I’m not use to this kind of things, but if it’s the only way I can stop the rumors then I have to do it no matter how hard it might be.” Ha Rin explained trying to sound confident.

“Don’t worry Min Young-ah, I’ll be by her side anyway. Just trust me on this.” Myungsoo reassured Min Young with a smile.

“Are you ready kids?” Mr. Kim barged inside the room with Mrs. Kim by her side and Mr. and Mrs. Shin behind them.

Myungsoo and Ha Rin stood up instantly not letting go of each other’s hands. Myungsoo gave his dad a firm nod.

“Alright, let’s go.” Mr. Kim said and with one glance at their security and butlers, they opened the doors to the function hall where the pressconference will be held.

The adults entered the hall first, with Min Young clinging onto Bum’s arms following where their parents would be sitting.

And as soon as Myungsoo and Ha Rin went inside the room, cameras around started flashing their way non-stop making Ha Rin’s body tense up nervously.

Myungsoo felt this and gave her hand a light squeeze and walked together by the table and sat down facing all the mediamen present at the event.

“Mr. Kim, is it true that you and Ms. Shin are a couple?” One reporter asked in a straightforward manner beginning the pressconference formally.

Myungsoo smiled. “Yes.” He said in affirmation.

“Would you call this a fixed relationship since both of your families are close to each other and even own one of the biggest corporations around the country and even Japan?” A lady reporter questioned.

“I disagree. We’re in this relationship not by force and our parents don’t have anything to do with this.” Myungsoo told her.

“So this is base on your own decision then, Ms. Shin?” The lady reporter went on and now the spotlight was on Ha Rin.

“U-uh, yes.” She spoke up and gave out a nervous smile.

“But Mr. Kim is very famous among girls at your age. Aren’t you scared of losing him to them?” A man in his mid 20’s asked her curiously.

Myungsoo looked at her. “No, I don’t think there’s a reason for me to be scared if I know that we’re both true to our feelings and we trust each other.” Ha Rin said truthfully and smiled.

“Very well said.” Myungsoo whispered on her ear proudly and Ha Rin smiled at him.

“So the rumors are true, you’re his wife then, and you’re the mom of his son Hyunsoo?” The man asked in interest.

Ha Rin was shocked by this question. “Please don’t include my son into this.” Myungsoo spoke up for her.

“I love and care for Hyunsoo as my own, if being a mom to him is what you’re asking, then yes.” Ha Rin said in confidence.

“You’re his wife then?” The lady reporter asked Ha Rin and everyone seemed to be waiting for her to answer this.

“I-I—“

“I’m his wife and not that !” An intruder’s voice was heard by the door of the function hall and everyone turned their heads to see who it was.

“May I know who you are Miss?” Someone from a big network station questioned the sudden visitor.

Myungsoo stood up from his seat and furrowed his eyebrows together. “Kim Hyuna! What are you doing here?!” He asked out loud.

“I’m the real wife of Mr. Kim and not her!” She exclaimed and pointed a finger at Ha Rin and stared at her in disgust.

All the reporters gasped and faced Myungsoo expecting for an answer. “No, I’m filing divorce.” He said with his teeth clenched together and his voice hardened.

Everyone was staggered by his sudden statement, most especially both of their families, Hyuna and Ha Rin.
