Chapter 6
My Hate Makes Me Love You
Kris POV:
‘Why did she run? I got better things to do than chase after her’ I thought as I picked the hardback books off of my chest and threw them onto the desk next to me. ‘She just better be prepared for tomorrow’ I stood up and brushed the invisible dust off of my cloths. I threw the work she did into my bag and slung it onto my back before picking up my bubble tea and leaving the deserted classroom.
Back to you:
“___ I’m going out to get some groceries!” Chen called to you from outside your room.
“Ok! ~” you called back and then you heard the front door shut. The sound of the little music that plays whenever someone opens or closes the door chimed making you smile even though you could tell it would get annoying after a while. You sat there at your desk In front of the window doing your homework. Well I say ‘doing’ your homework; you were looking out the window at the view.
“Woah so pretty~” Your jaw dropped at the city, the streets were lit with different coloured lights which really glowed at night. It reminded you of being at a fair or a carnival. You have been here for a couple of days now put had never got to get a chance to take a look at the view. You were too busy helping Chen unpack and move furniture in and out of the house. Realising you was staring into space you glanced down at the clock. ’10:30pm?? Chen left at 9pm. I’ve been staring out the window for an hour and a half!!’ you then turned your head to the homework you haven’t even started yet.
“I’m back!” Chen’s voice called as the music of the door began to sing. You got up and ran to the door to Help Chen with the bags of shopping.
“So how’s the homework coming along?” he asked as you help him pack away the huge amount of food he bought. Your eyes widened remembering that you hadn’t even started.
“Chen it’s all in Chinese, I need someone to translate it” you mumbled placing a bag of crisps into the top shelf of a cupboard.
“I could do that for you, you could have just said” he turned to face you “You’ve been sat there for an hour and a half waiting for it to magically turn into Korean?” he asked raising an eye brow”
“It’s not my fault!” you snapped and you both began to laugh loudly.
Kris’ POV:
“How am I meant to draw a crocodile!” I sighed resting on my hand staring at the picture of a crocodile I was given for science. I had to draw and label a crocodile. I let out a sigh and began to draw on the bright white paper. Once I was finished I sat back in my Chair to get a better view of it.
“No way!” it looked more like a fish instead of a crocodile so I crunched up the paper and threw in behind me and began to draw once again.
“Stupid”
“Shocking!”
“Scribble”
After about twenty tries I finally drew a crocodile that looked like a crocodile. I was proud so I began to label and colour in my magnificent art work.
“I could frame this and make a lot of money” I mumbled as I wrote my name at the bottom of the paper. “People wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from the real thing” I was really proud. I placed it into my bag and then got changed and flopped onto my bed. I sat there for a second thinking about what I should do to that ___ girl tomorrow. Deciding on a plan I set my alarm and drifted off to sleep.
