It's the first day of sophomore year. I'm finishing up my makeup, waiting for
the boys to arrive.
"MA! We're here!" I heard Youngwon yell.
"How are ya boys? You ready for your first day?"
We've been friends for so long, my mom doesn't even flinch when they all come in
the house in the morning for me anymore. 

I rushed down stairs.
It had been two whole days since the last time I had been with them.
I don't know what I'm gonna do when the eldest go to college.
"Wow, you guys look so good. "

"All Dayday, every Dayday. "
My mom giggled.
"We got nothing on you girl. " Daniel added.
I blushed.
"Wait, " My mom started. "why do you all look, like, the same?"
"Not me!" Youngwon added.
"You know, I didn't notice that until you said it." Jisu said.
"It's cute though. Gosh, you guys better get going. How would it look showing up late on your first day of senior year you three?" 

Dayday, Dari, and Inati lowered their heads. 
"You're right. Let's go guys."

Inati, Daniel, youngwon and I all got in one car, and the others went in Dari's. 

"Why didnt you guys bring the truck?" I asked.
"It's too big for the school, in my opinion. And this way, if some of us have to
stay after, there's an alternate way home." Inati explained. 

Luckily, me and Daniel had first period together. Geometry. And, the way the
teacher did the seating, placed him right next to me. I love math. 

The rest of the day dragged on.
I have lunch with Jisu, Dari and Dayday.
Thank God.
Last year I only had Inati.  Not that that was a bad thing. But the girls
wouldn't leave him alone, with these three; we can actually chill. 

We never went straight home after school. No matter what the weather was like.
We would all hang out and talk about our days. It's turned into like a tradition
with us. My mom said she has never seen anyone hang out like we do. We're with
each other all week, and usually stay over each other's houses on the weekends.
When we don't see each other, it feels like a piece is missing. 

Anyway, since it was still summer, we decided to go to the park. No matter how
old I get, I will always love going to the park.   

We all raced to the swings, those are the best part.
Inati won. But he gave me the swing.
The swings faced the jungle gym.
The four youngest were on the swings. 

Dari, Inati, and Dayday decided to have a competition.  See who can do the most
chin ups on the monkey bars.
Daniel was the referee. 10 chin ups in and Dari was out. Because the other two
were going so hard, Daniel started to call penalties. Inati ended up winning
because Dayday's chin didn't go completely over the bar. 

The boys wanted to play basketball. I wasn't feeling up for it. Youngwon
suggested going for a walk around the lake. I put my arm around his shoulder,
and he put his arm around my waist. For some reason, this time when he put his
arm around me, it felt different. Out of all the times I've done this with him,
it's never felt like this before.
