in the stars ver.2
bunny forestsimilar to the last prompt
jongin wonders why people buy the ones they love stars. he doesn't understand. he can't imagine buying kyungsoo a star, naming it after him and handing him a piece of paper saying that it is his. he probably wouldn't even be able to point it out in the night sky, even if they rode their bikes out to the countryside and laid in the grass, looking up at the clearest black, void of the pollution of the city. he thinks he'd rather buy kyungsoo the whole galaxy-- no, the universe if he could.
but jongin supposes that's why people purchase pieces of the heavens; they're trying to convey the burst of emotions they feel, and much more. because jongin knows that love isn't simply an emotion, but it is words, actions, feelings, and just... love. people try to express this how they can, and buying a portion of the night sky, quiet and vast, is one of the best ways to do it.
(he still wonders... how much does the universe cost?)
